Prompt: 7 Things – Miley Cyrus

Hotch looked at Emily when he heard her laugh and his heart started beating faster and faster in his chest. He couldn't believe how lucky he was in his life. He had a wonderful son and a drop dead gorgeous girlfriend whom he loved more than he loved his own life. As he watched her talking and laugh with Derek he smiled.

He shook his head and bit down on his lip to stop himself from laughing out loud. There were a number of things that made him love Emily. However the first seven things on his list were the most important.

1. She made his son happy.

2. She could make him smile even on his darkest days.

3. She never said a bad word about anyone.

4. She always made sure that everyone was alright.

5. She was always putting others ahead of herself.

6. She never let his bad temper push her away.

7. She understood his job.

Yes those seven things were among the top of the list as to why he loved Emily. They were also the reason why he has finally decided to ask her to marry him. He knew that he would never find another woman like her nor did he want too. Emily was the reason he was able to do this job and she was the reason that he was the kind of father that he was. He wanted to make her his permanently and he would.
