Author's note: I got bored and typed up this short little drabble. It probably doesn't account for much, but it was something to do(:

Stars:

We sat on the roof as we stared up at the stars that danced above us. Tohru sat beside me with her knees drawn up to her chest, so close that her arm brushed mine. The sky above us was an endless velvet sea, stars twinkling everywhere.

"They're so pretty," she murmured to me, not taking her eyes off of the sky.

"Whatever," I muttered, sneering at the shimmering stars above us. She gazed up at the many stars, the star light illuminating her beautiful face.

"Oh," she gasped suddenly, pointing towards the sky. "A shooting star!" She smiled again and looked at me. "Make a wish!"

She closed her eyes as she made her wish, her hands clasped on top of her knees. I looked at her and I wondered what someone like her would need to wish for. She was already perfect in every way.

When she opened her eyes, I instantly remembered how gorgeous they were. Her eyes were the purest brown and they took my breath every time I looked at them.

"What did you wish for?" I asked her. She placed her head on my shoulder and laughed.

"If I tell you, it won't come true," she told me. She looked up at me through her bangs. "What did you wish for?"

I looked at her and smiled before I leaned in closer to her, close enough that my breath grazed her ear. I smirked before whispering,

"you."
