Yet another part of my series of my Fox and the Hound references to Sirius and Ginny. For Hogwarts Online prompt of the day "Under the Innocent Sky". Enjoy

Secrets of the Living

A beautiful red fox bounced around the lake, skipping some rocks just to prove her agility. Of course her happiness didn't last long as a great black dog spotted her over the other side and bounded for her. The fox instantly started running to try and escape it's grasp but the dog eventually caught up with her and tackled her into the lake. Which even in the summer was cold and uncomfortable. The fox emerged and shook itself off ignoring the grin the dog seemed to have.

The fox quickly changed into the form of a very wet Ginny Weasley. She starred down at the dog with a frown.

"Stupid mutt," she hissed and he too turned for the shape of a dog to the shape of Sirius Black.

"That is not very nice," he observed a sad look on his face that Ginny knew was an act.

Oh poor darling Sirius Black," she sighed and sat down on a rock her face falling.

"Hey, gin, you ok?" he asked sitting down next to her.

"I told Hermione about our relationship," she said softly.

"I take it by that she took it wonderfully," Sirius said pulling ginny against him.

"She thinks you are using me," Ginny sighed.

"You know that's not true," Sirius said in a final tone.

"I know," Ginny said softly.

"So what is the problem?" he asked and Ginny bite on her lip.

"Well she has always been my closest friend, yet since I told her she has barely talked to me. I just didn't think friends did that to each other. It is why I told her, I was sure she would support me, maybe even share a joke with me," Ginny sighed lying into sirius chest.

"Maybe she is jealous?" he asked and even though Ginny knew this was a set up he always use to describe how much he loved himself something about his tone made him sound like he really meant it.

"Maybe," Ginny pondered and looked up at the sky. "When I was little I use to think the stars were secrets," Ginny smiled and Sirius looked up too slightly confused about what she meant.

"What?" he ased ad Ginny smiled.

"Well when we talk it seems to always be at night, and I always find it easy to talk at night, so I have always thought that stars were people's secrets being kept safe by the night sky, the only witness of the conversations taking place," she smiled then blushed feeling slightly foolish.

"Do you have many secrets up there?" Sirius asked and Ginny smiled.

"Do you?" she asked.

"Millions."

"Do I know them?"

"Every single one," Sirius said kissing her cheek.

"Do you think I could trust the sky to keep my next secret?" she asked softly and Sirius nodded.

"I love you," she said softly. Sirius blushed and pulled Ginny closer.

"Well I love you too Ginny," Sirius whispered into ginny's ear.

"I think that having you makes losing Hermione easier," Ginny smiled.

"How so?" Sirius asked.

"I don't need anyone as long as I have you," Ginny smiled and Sirius laughed.

"You will change your tone when you live with me," he said and Ginny nodded.

"Have you stated taking my stuff to our place yet?" Ginny asked.

"A few things," he replied and Ginny smiled.

"At least when I leave here I will be somewhere worth being," she said. Sirius kissed her neck and a wolfish grin spread across his face.

"I will see you tomorrow night, my love," he said and Ginny nodded. With that they both changed back into their Animagus forms and parted. Letting the innocent sky hide away yet another batch of secrets.
