As you read The Advanced Guide to Medical Spells in the common room you feel his blue eyes on you, and it brings a flush to your cheeks.

The worst part is that you are so confused. Do I love him? Or do I just fancy him? All you know is that whenever you're around him, you can't think clearly and you don't want him to leave. And when you pass by him in the halls your eyes always seem to meet his vibrant blue ones and it seems like he was just waiting for you to look up so he could look in your caramel eyes. Whenever this happens you get butterflies in your stomach and just wish for him to smile at you so that you can start a conversation.

When you suggested that you were going to ask him to Slughorn's party, Ron had looked amazed that you had shown any romantic interest in him. You can't understand why though, I mean, he is courageous and loyal- how would anybody NOT like him? He had seemed quite put off about the idea of you going with Mclaggen and this comforted you. Ever since the night before last though, when he had barged into the common room, broken an ink bottle then immediately stormed up to the common rooms with a dazed Harry in his footsteps, he had seemed distant and his temper had become shorter. He had started treating you with an icy, sneering indifference which often led to rows between you and him. Although you noticed the sudden change in his attitude, you had no idea what caused it.
