A/N - Slightly belated. So, what are you going to do? Yes it is belated. Burn me!

Fiona walked into my house. Well, my loft. Most people, including my mother, consider it a dump, but since I was burned, the loft has been home sweet home.

"Madi sent me over." Fi said, before I could even get out a casual 'Hi, Fiona.'

"Umm." I stammered instead, of my well-planned greeting. Chances are, 'umm' would have been the most intelligible thing I would have said, even if Fiona had not sprung my mother's wrath on me the moment she walked in. She was wearing a red and green mini dress, with her usual wedge heels. Fi rolled her eyes, noticing the way mine traveled up and down her body. She walked over, and grabbed the yogurt I was eating out of my hand.

"Hey." I said, getting my voice and most of my thoughts back in order.

"You promised Madi you would have Christmas dinner at her house. You also said that you would be there so she could serve at four." Fiona frowned at me. Her and Mom had become good friends in the time that I had been exiled to my home town. They even took a cooking class together, which, by the way, did nothing to improve my mother's cooking skills.

"Fi, something kind of came up." I motioned toward the bed, which had blue-prints and explosives spread across it.

"Nothing is more important than Christmas dinner with the family." She chided me. I fought the urge to smirk.

"Is everyone there already?" I asked, leaning down so that I was whispering in her ear.

"Hmm hmm. Nate and Ruby, Sam, and Madi, of course."

"So we should get going?" I kiss her softly on the neck. Fiona pulls away from me. I can tell from the look on her face that it is taking a great toll on her not to just give in and kiss me, though she will never admit it.

"Come on, Michael. Let's go to your Mom's and when we get back, I might have a Christmas surprise for you." I smile and follow her out the door. I take metal note to clear the C4 off my bed before the night is through. Something tells me that it won't be a problem.
