Notes: Mulan jacked my stuff. I didn't notice until Auron had the decency to return it.

Summary: One of Sora's hands flew to scratch his head, and his eyes darted nervously to Goofy, to Donald, to the treasure chest in the corner, and then finally back to Mulan. "Uh, I'm gonna need that bandanna back," he said, pointing to Mulan's accessory.

How it Happened

"Well, goodbye Sora, Donald, Goofy... we look forward to seeing you again." Mulan smiled; Sora, of course, grinned in return, waving.

"Bye!" he said, and Goofy echoed him - but not Donald.

"Sora!" Donald exclaimed, looking expectantly at aforementioned sparky haired kid. He tapped his feet impatiently.

Sora gave him a confused look. "What is it, Donald?"

Mulan, Shang, the emperor, and, well, the entirety of the Imperial City watched as Donald glared pointedly at Mulan, and spoke, "We almost forgot again!"

"What do you"—Sora's eyes followed Donald's—"oh. You're right." The boy turned from Donald to Mulan, and clearing his throat, started smartly: "Uh...well, the thing is..."

Donald gave him a nudge; Mulan, laughing, asked, "What is it, Sora?"

"Well..." One of Sora's hands flew to scratch his head, and his eyes darted nervously to Goofy, to Donald, to the treasure chest in the corner, and then finally back to Mulan again. "Uh, I'm gonna need that bandanna back," he said, pointing to Mulan's accessory.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Mulan said, untying it and handing it over, "It's yours and I'd kept it on this whole time. Thank you for letting me borrow it."

"You're welcome," said Donald, looking at Sora with intent in his eyes.

Sora coughed. "Um... yeah, sorry, but I'm gonna need those potions, too. Those Heartless, you know how ruthless they can be..."

Shang arched an eyebrow as Mulan withdrew three bottles from her belt and gave them to Goofy, chuckling. The silence that followed was uncomfortable as Goofy stuffed the potions away, Donald glared at Sora, and Sora looked wearily back at his feathered friend.

Finally, Donald sighed and turning to Mulan, demanded that she give them all their money back.

"Sorry about that," Sora muttered as he boarded the Gummi Ship, "but defeating evil isn't as lucrative a business as you would think. Bye!"

Silence.

"Okay," said Shang, looking at the scribe, "this never happened. Rewrite the history so that I discovered Ping's usefulness at camp during a musical number. This Sora kid never existed."

No one argued.
