Soooo, I love The Big Bang Theory. I just got the first two seasons and am on the second episode. Raj mentioning he'd be with an Indian girl so she could also sing the same Indian lullabies his mother sang to him to their children. Weeeellll….this came to my mind from that!

Raj slowly sat up in bed, rubbing his face as he heard his two year old daughter crying from her room. He moved to get up before he quickly noticed that the spot next to him in the bed was empty. He wondered where Howard was as he got to his feet before moving towards the door to go get his daughter up to calm her back down and put her to sleep. He entered the hallway and moved towards her room before he stopped in his tracks at the sound he heard.

"Hey there, Ananya, shh…you're gonna wake your Papa, and we know he has to get up early." he heard Howard's voice. Raj walked to the door and looked in, watching as Howard lifted their daughter out of her crib and sat in the rocking chair, sitting her in his lap. Ananya stared up at her Daddy, her little hand gripping his shirt.

"I had a bad dream, Daddy. I was scared." Ananya whispered to Howard, her blue eyes staring up into his brown ones. Howard stared at her and smiled a bit, starting to rock her gently. Ananya kept his shirt clenched in her hand as he did so, but she couldn't fall back asleep.

"Sing to me, Daddy." she whispered again, snuggling against him. Howard smiled and nodded as he continued to rock her. Raj stared in complete shock when Howard quietly began to sing…

'The lullabies my mother sang to me' Raj thought, his dark eyes going wide as he listened to Howard's deep voice sing the Indian lullabies to their child. Ananya slowly started to relax as her Daddy sang to her, her eyes slowly drifting closed as he continued. When Howard noticed she was sleeping, he smiled and carefully put her back to bed, covering her up snugly before he turned towards the door, being met with the sight of a shocked Raj staring at him. Howard smiled as he walked towards him, closing Ananya's door once they were both in the hall. Raj continued to stare at him as Howard led him back to their room.

"Howard…how did you…" Raj trailed off as Howard simply smiled.

"Your mother taught me via webcam and helped me learn them to perfection. I know you always wanted your children to grow up with the same lullabies, and now Ananya will." Howard kissed Raj gently before he crawled back into bed with him. Raj lay next to Howard before he smiled and snuggled up to him, thanking the gods and goddesses for the man that lay next to him.

Yeah, it's short and all but it was just a small, short idea I had after hearing Raj's line. I'm also a Howard/Raj shipper so…yeah. Haha! Hope ya'll enjoyed!
