Two unnconnected drabbles/ficlets.
For mrstotten - Prompt: Kurt/Blaine angst "Make them hurt!"
It's been years since he's seen Blaine, but minutes since he's last thought about him. What If's are terrible at the best of times and Kurt's biggest is Blaine. Issues of timing and Blaine's gentlemanly ways, Kurt's boyfriend, then Blaine's boyfriend, then Kurt's new boyfriend. Then collage and distance and time and I can't make this vacation, maybe Thanks Giving. And suddenly it had been years since he had seen him.
He's seeing him now though, loud and clear, glasses perched on his nose, hair longer and wilder than they're Dalton days, hand wrapped around a coffee mug, dazzling smile directed at someone else and Kurt feels like he's been slammed into a locker by Karofsky.
Blaine seems to notice him and turns, smile faltering for a second, shifting to one of surprise, pleasure and apprehension. He stands and Kurt runs. He spends the next hour with his finger hovering over Blaine's number on his cell.
"I've known you for 10 years, think I don't know where you go when you need to think?" Blaine says as he slides onto the bench next to him. Kurt curses his predictability.
"Where's..." He starts.
"He's just a friend, Kurt." Blaine answers, looking at his hands folded in his lap. Kurt wants to touch them, cover them with his own hands and hold on. He folds his arms across his chest instead.
"Oh." He knows he sounds like a child but he can't help it. Can't help the way his heart leaps when he looks at Blaine and catches a glimpse of that smile he fell in love with 10 years ago.
"Come on," Blaine says, standing and holding his hand down to Kurt. "I'll buy you lunch."
For kittyfaelis - Prompt: Kurt/Blaine - First Kiss
As far as first kissed go, Kurt's pretty sure his real one was up there in the Hall Of Fame of Horrible Kisses. His second first kiss though, the one in years to come he will remember as his first one, that goes much better.
Blaine slid his fingers into Kurt's hair, pulled him close and just hovered there, like he was wating for permission. When Kurt parted his lips and let out the breath he wasnt aware he had been holding, Blaine moved, closed the space between them, covered Kurt's lips with his own. His fingers tightened slightly and he pulled Kurt closer.
Kurt would have been very happy to stay there forever, trading kisses with Blaine, clutching at his shoulders, Blaine's hair under his fingers, if it hadn't been for the jeers from David and the finally from Wes as they barged into Blaine's room. Blaine pulled away with a smile and slipped his hand into Kurt's, squeezing gently, before letting go and throwing the nearest object at his friends. It was a shoe and David complained loudly, clutching his head as Blaine shoved them out and slammed the door. He pulled Kurt back to him with an lazy grin and kissed him again.
As far as kisses goes, Kurt considers those first two with Blaine perfection.
