After Several bottles
" You know, Tamaki," Kyoya said, leaning relaxingly against a chair with a bottle of gin in his hand, " You-you- you're always…so… damn preppy…like a cheerleader…it really gets on my nerves sometimes…and then you overa-overeat-overreact," Kyoya said, finishing the word slowly and carefully, " You overreact…so…effing…much…over the slightest things…I mean…stupid…frivolous…words…can't describe how-how…bonehead you are."
"Un huh." Tamaki replied, trying not to laugh. He'd had a few too many drinks tonight himself…but good lord, Kyoya was beyond drunk.
" And you're…such a…idiot…actually more like…an idiot idiot…'cause you're too…much of an id…iot for you…to be one…idiot…do…you…ever look…at yourself… in the miror- no, don't answer…that, I know…you look at…yourself…all the time."
By this point Tamaki was holding his laughter in by clamping both hands over his mouth. He'd actually never seen Kyoya drunk before, mainly because he wasn't the type to drink under the age. But to see his best friend so unguarded, but also so silly was too much for Tamaki.
He should have known Kyoya was the type of drunk that tells everyone what he thinks of them.
"Isn't…that all you…ever do is…look at your…self? You…you're like a…sugar addled…five-year old…on LSD…crossed with a…narcissistic…movie star…who thinks that… he's the sun." There was no hope for Tamaki now.
"You've never said that before." Tamaki choked out between giggles.
"I know…it's because…you talk all… the fracking…time…and I can't…think with your…whiney voice…in my ears. And you…have like…five names…and you're…so handsome…you should be…really…annoying…but…you're just…stupid…enough that…I can stand…it." He suddenly leaned in. " Ya know…" Kyoya said, a contemplative look coming over his face. "You have…really pretty eyes."
When Haruhi came back to her joint penthouse from her Bachelorette party, she found her fiancé and Kyoya sprawled out on the love seat, passed out drunk. Tamaki leaned back with his arm around Kyoya, and Kyoya rested his head on Tamaki's shoulder.
It was the cutest thing she'd ever seen.
