A/N: Christmas is fast approaching. Woo! Unless you don't like Christmas. Then, boo! Not really, though. Christmas is kind of magical. I hope you guys dig this chapter. Things are getting HOT.

"Sorry I'm late," I called out after opening Charlie's front door. I walked to the dining room to find Billy, Jake, Charlie, Sue, and Seth sitting around the table. Everyone waved hello, and Jake hopped up to pull out the chair next to him. My chair. I smiled wide enough to break my face in half as I went to sit next to him. He leaned over to kiss my cheek after I sat down.

"Hey, Ness," He whispered in my ear. Shivers ran down my spine.

"Hey, Jake," I whispered back. He gave me a lopsided grin, and the fact that we were with company was the only thing that kept me from kissing the living daylights out of him.

I leaned my forehead against his, closing my eyes and breathing him in. He hummed, holding my hand under the table. I forced myself to pull away after I heard Billy clear his throat. Jake threw him a glare. Seth grinned ear to ear, knowing what was up. Sue and Charlie exchanged a look.

"This is new," I heard Charlie grumble beneath his breath. Jake looked down at the table, and Seth and I had to keep ourselves from laughing.

"So," I said, changing the subject. "Where's Leah?"

"She ditched us," Seth said between mouthfuls. "I think she has a date."

"Really? That's great," I enthused. Sue smiled, agreeing with me.

Dinner went smoothly. I joined in on Charlie and Billy's banter. Jake put his hand on my knee, tracing circles on my skin through one of the holes in my jeans. That didn't make it hard to focus or anything. As payback, I made a point of running a finger over his lips. I told him that he had ketchup leftover near his mouth; the look he gave me told me that he knew I was lying. Sue spent part of dinner berating Seth over his facial hair.

"It's just stubble," He defended. Sue rolled her eyes.

"That's what they all say before it grows into a beard. I prefer you clean-shaven." Seth then rolled his eyes.

"I'd have to shave on the hour to stay baby smooth, ma."

I chuckled. Even though he was twenty-one, Seth was still adorable. He was such a mama's boy; Even after moving out, he made sure to have dinner with her once a week. He always calls to check up on her. Same with Leah. He had very strong family values, and I knew that he'd make someone happy in the future. He doesn't have a girlfriend right now. I've hated all of his girlfriends so far; He was too nice, and they all ended up taking advantage of him. I also had a feeling that he was afraid to seriously date someone. That he was afraid he'd imprint on someone else and do to his girlfriend what was done to Leah. He didn't want to break someone's heart.

"So," Charlie began. "What was holding you up, Nessie?"

"I ran into someone I know. Well, the sister of someone I know," I said. Jake gave me a curious look, silently asking me to clarify.

"It was Nahuel's sister," I said, giving Jake a meaningful glance. Billy and Seth exchanged worried glances. Charlie looked at us in confusion before he understood.

"Need to know," He murmured to himself. "Need to know."

After dinner, Jake walked me to my car. We held hands once we got outside, away from the prying eyes of our friends and family. We slowed to a stop by my car door. The night was cold, and our breaths came out in white puffs. Heat rolled off of Jake's warm skin in waves. He reached a hand out to cup my face. I shivered, but it wasn't from the cold.

"What are we going to do about Nahuel's sister," He asked, concerned.

"I sorta invited her over tomorrow," I said, looking down. Jake tensed.

"Are you sure, Ness? She could be dangerous."

"I don't think she is. I have a gut feeling, however much that's worth. And I'm not seeing her alone. I texted my parents, and everyone's coming home early. They wanna be there in case something happens. They'll be back around midnight. " Jake pouted, wrapping his arms around me.

"So I can't sleep in your room tonight," He asked. I grinned.

"If you came back into my bed, I guarantee you there wouldn't be much sleeping." He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I'd have to stay on guard in case you decide to attack me."

"Yeah, right," I said smacking his arm. "We both know you like me, Black."

"More than 'like'," He said, leaning down to kiss me. I got on my tiptoes and met him halfway. It was sweet and warm and utterly Jacob. His arms tightened around me as he deepened the kiss. I sighed, gripping the collar of his jacket. The chill of the November air was forgotten as the fire Jake lit inside of me burned hotter. His kisses kept me warm.

The intensity between us grew, and soon enough Jake was pressing me against the car door. It started to feel like summer as he leaned his warm body against mine. My hands slipped from his collar to his shoulders. When we finally broke for air, Jake's mouth continued its relentless pursuit. His lips kissed down my jaw, finally resting at the crook of my neck.

"Jake," I moaned. I reached for the car door, about to push him inside and have my way with him.

A sudden clearing of someone's throat alerted us of someone else presence. We'd both been too caught up in the moment to notice someone else outside. We jumped apart, as if doing so could fool whoever had caught us red-handed. I looked up to see Seth standing on the porch, backlit by the lamp next to Charlie's front door. He laughed.

"Sorry, I just needed to talk to you guys. I wasn't gonna interrupt, but it didn't look like you'd be stopping anytime soon." Jake scratched the back of his head, embarrassed. My face was probably beet-red.

"No, uh, it's fine," I reassured him. "What's up?"

"I'm concerned about that hybrid," Seth said. I gave him a warm smile.

"Seriously, don't worry. I've got it under control. My family will be home from hunting, and I'm sure Jake will act as my own personal, self-imposed guard dog. No danger."

"I just," Seth said, crossing his arms. "I don't really know how to describe it. I think I should be there. No, I think I need to be there. Something's telling me that there's a shift in the force."

"We've got it under control," Jake said, throwing an arm over my shoulder. "You don't have to worry. Everyone will be fine. You're supposed to go to that movie with your mom tomorrow anyways. You're not gonna bail on her, are you?"

"No," Seth sulked. "I won't. Just tell me how everything goes tomorrow. Okay?"

"I will," I promised. I opened my car door before turning to say goodbye.

"Bye, Seth! I'll see you in the morning, Jake," I murmured. He grinned and kissed me again, ignoring our audience.

"Goodnight, Ness."

… … …

Surprisingly enough, Aylen was exactly on time. An abrupt rapping at the door at one o' clock sharp was unexpected. Well, not really. We'd heard her approaching the house a minute before. Still, I figured that Aylen was the flighty, spontaneous type. Certainly not that she'd be punctual and polite, standing at my doorstep wearing a fluttery pink dress with a matching cardigan and knee-high socks. The only semblance of the rocker chick I saw yesterday was the black winged liner she wore. Even her dark lipstick had been swapped for a nude gloss. This was a girl you'd expect to see at Forever 21, not in a grungy music store in Port Angeles.

"Nice outfit. You look ready to be brought home to Mom," I mused. She rolled her eyes.

"That's kinda the point. Are you gonna invite me in, or what?"

"How vampire-esque of you," I teased. "We're making garlic bread. Is that gonna be a problem, or…?"

She rolled her eyes and brushed past me. I grinned and followed her, closing the door behind me. She paused in the entryway, looking in the mirror to spot any imperfections in her appearance. She frantically tried to smooth down her hair and adjust the straps on her dress. I snorted.

"I'm surprised that you can actually see your reflection," I smirked. She frowned at me, opening her mouth to snap out a witty retort.

"Besides," I continued. "You can change your looks all you want, but my dad's a mind reader. First impressions with my family are more about what's in your head than what's on it."

"Oh," She said, frowning. "I forgot. Damn it. I've probably fucked up already." I laughed.

"That's the girl I met yesterday. Come on. Everyone's dying to meet you."

"They're already dead," She grumbled.

She followed me to the living room where everyone was waiting. I could tell by the tense way her shoulders were set that she was extremely nervous. I put a hand on her arm to reassure her.

"This is my family," I said, gesturing to the room. Everyone waved and smiled. If possible, she got even more tense. I pointed to everyone as I introduced them.

"I'll start with my aunts and uncles. There's Rosalie, Emmet, Alice, and Jasper," I said cordially. I noticed how the tension left her posture and wondered if Jasper had helped calm her down.

"Next are my grandparents Esme and Carlisle. They're the nicest ones here. Talk to them," I said, grinning. Alice huffed indignantly.

"I'm nice," She grumbled. I smirked.

"And also very blunt. Next are my parents. I call them Mom and Dad, but you'd probably prefer Bella and Edward," I said. Mom gave a warm smile.

"I was where you are eight years ago. Meeting the Cullen Clan and all that. It's weird to be on the outside looking in," She speculated. Aylen grinned.

"Yeah, you guys are pretty intimidating. I'm Aylen, by the way. You can call me Lenny. And you are," She asked, looking at Jacob. I didn't like the way her eyes raked over his figure. Not one bit.

"Jacob," I growled. "My boyfriend."

Her mouth formed a surprised "O", and she looked away awkwardly. I saw Jake smirking at my possessiveness from across the room and I glared at him. The silence was broken my father's abrupt laughter.

"If you guys could hear thoughts, you'd be laughing, too," He said, shoulders shaking.

"The entire room feels awkward," Jasper chuckled. I rolled my eyes.

"Har dee har. I'm taking Lenny to my room," I grumbled, grabbing her arm and dragging her to the steps.

"I'm coming, too," Jake joined in. Dad growled.

"You're not allowed in her room anymore. You're lucky I didn't rip your arms off when I found out what happened last time you were there."

"Aw, come on! Lenny's gonna be in there. Ness and I wouldn't do anything with someone else there. And you know from my thoughts whether anything's happening or not," Jake protested.

"Besides," I added in. "I'm way too selfish with Jake to have a threesome."

Almost in unison, Jake and Lenny slapped a hand over their foreheads.

"That so didn't help, Ness."

"Seriously, Renesmee. And I thought I was awkward," Lenny added.

Dad rolled his eyes before gesturing up the stairs with his hand. I grinned at Jacob before going upstairs with Lenny, knowing he'd follow.

"So," Lenny said. "Do you have any siblings, Jacob? Like a brother, perhaps?"

"Only sisters," Jake laughed.

"Damn."

"He's mine," I growled, not permitting any flirtation between the two. She laughed.

"What, are you mates, or something?"

"Pretty much," Jake said. "I am a wolf, after all." Her eyes widened.

"Seriously? Renesmee, you're dating a werewolf?"

"Well," I said, opening the door to my room and ushering them in. "He's more like a shapeshifter."

"Damn," She groaned. "I always wanted to get with a werewolf." I narrowed my eyes, shifting to stand in front of Jake.

"Jesus! I'm not trying to steal your man. I was just wondering if he had any hot wolf-friends? Like a pack or something?"

Jake laughed, and I relaxed my stance. I felt a little silly, now.

"Sorry. She's the jealous type," Jake smirked. I glared at him.

"You're, like, a million times worse. You almost pummeled the guy that stared at my ass in the supermarket," I teased.

"Well, you're my imprint. I have an excuse. Wolf instincts."

"Imprint," Lenny asked, confused. "What's that?"

"It's a wolf's mate," Jake explained. "Not every wolf has one, but when they do it's love at first sight. The second you make eye contact, you know."

"Also, his eyes get all wide, his mouth drops, and he forgets how to speak," I added.

"Finding your soul mate is kind of disarming," Jake mumbled. I grinned and reached to hold his hand.

"Sounds nice," Lenny murmured, dazed. I raised an eyebrow.

"You seemed like the 'I don't need no man' type to me. I thought you'd be protesting the girl's lack of say in the matter," I remarked.

"I was the type to say that. Like, a decade ago. I reached full maturity at six and a half, and I've been dating ever since then. I'm only twenty four, but I feel like I'm two hundred. If the universe gave me a sign as to who my soul mate is, I wouldn't exactly be complaining."

"Wow," I said, surprised.

"Trust me," She said. "Dating sucks ass."

"I don't know," I said jokingly. "I've been thinking that I should play the field."

Jake growled, and Lenny and I laughed. Who was the possessive one now? We talked about music for a bit before heading downstairs. I led them to the kitchen. Jake rushed ahead, ready to eat. I chuckled, not surprised in the slightest. It took Esme a while to wear him down, but now he's a sucker for her cooking.

"I think we're having Italian. Alfredo and garlic bread. That cool with you?"

"You," She said, wrinkling her nose. "You eat human food?"

"Don't you," I asked, confused.

"As little as possible. Only on dinner dates or when I'm tired. And I only eat meat."

"Oh," I said, slightly disappointed as I sat down at the kitchen table. "You, um, drink blood, then?"

"Well, duh," She said as if the answer was obvious. "Don't you?" No.

"I drink animal blood," I lied, knowing my family could hear. "And I try to eat lots of human food."

She nodded, accepting the plate Esme handed her with a smile. I did the same, thanking Esme for the food. Jake had already dug into his mountainous pile of noodle. Esme had learned exactly how insatiable his appetite was, and she catered to it without complaint. The pasta was good (for human food), but two things kept playing in my mind and keeping me from enjoying the meal: What Aylen did with her "food" and how much better Jacob's blood tasted than this pasta. Still in denial about what happened yesterday, I broached the former subject.

"So, you hunt humans? To drink from, that is?" She grimaced.

"I prefer to say that I accept donations from humans. It's harmless, really. I get someone drunk and take their blood after they're knocked out. Female vampires don't have venom, so they only thing that could harm them is if I took too much blood," She explained. I nodded, internally sighing in relief that my new friend wasn't a murderer.

"Wouldn't that-"

"Get me drunk? Yeah, it does. I tried using a sedative instead, once. Didn't turn out too well. I was knocked out cold about ten seconds after I drank. Almost got caught. Not fun at all. I've been experimenting with my power, but it's not very stable-"

"Your power? I didn't know you had a gift," I said, surprised. I saw Esme and Carlisle tune in, curious.

"I can influence peoples' senses. Some of them, at least. I started out only being able to influence smell. Over the years, I've developed the ability to influence taste as well. Lately, I've been experimenting with touch. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If it works, I can take someone's blood without even having to dull their senses with alcohol. It'd feel like I'm kissing their neck."

"Whoa," I said, impressed. "Do it to me."

"Which one," She asked, hesitant.

"Taste," I said, not wanting to embarrass her if touch didn't work.

"I have to be touching you," She warned. I stretched and arm out. She laid a hand on my forearm before nodding.

"Ready. Just telling you, I can only make people experience what I've experienced. So don't expect ratatouille, because I've never eaten it. Now take a bite of your food."

I did as she asked, swirling the linguine around on my fork before popping it into my mouth. The taste was divine. Not as good as Jacob's blood, but it was up there. It was sweet and airy, leaving an aftertaste similar to vanilla on my tongue. I sighed.

"That was O positive," She said lightly. I wrinkled my brow, not liking that human blood tasted so amazing.

"I wanna try," Jake grinned stretching an arm out. Lenny laughed.

"I don't think Renesmee would appreciate me touching you," She said. I rolled my eyes.

"It's fine. I'm not totally unreasonable." She put a hand on Jake's arm.

"Oh, you're rock solid. Do you work out," She asked playfully, squeezing it for emphasis.

"Watch it," I growled. I heard laughter in the other room and snarled in its direction.

"Damn," I heard Emmet murmur. Rosalie laughed at him, undoubtedly reaching to give him a hug. I rolled my eyes and returned my attention to Jake and Lenny.

She had her hand on his arm and watched as he shoved a forkful of alfredo in his mouth. He immediately spat it out, trying to use a napkin to scrape the taste off his tongue. I heard my dad sputtering in the next room. I gave Lenny a disapproving look, knowing she pulled a dirty trick.

"Mud," She clarified, taking her hand off Jake's arm. Jacob looked at her, aghast.

"You've eaten mud before," He asked, appalled. She shrugged.

"I knew it'd come in handy later. For moments like this." My family laughed in the adjacent room.

"She's got spunk," Rosalie yelled. "Let's keep her."

"I think you'll fit in just fine here," I said grinning at Aylen. Her fire and tenacity faded a bit, and I saw something else in her eyes. Unadulterated relief. She'd been accepted.

… … …

I snuck off to go to Jake's house. It's been three days since Aylen had come to visit. I hadn't seen Jake since he left my house that day, and it was driving me crazy. I wanted him so badly that it haunted my dreams. The lust kept accumulating after so much time gone without his kisses or wandering hands that my mind had become insatiable. My mother's shield allowed me to zone out for minutes at a time, focusing on some filthy, Jake-centric sexual fantasy or another. But just because Dad couldn't hear the specifics didn't mean people were fooled. After having to snap me out of my flushed daze several times, everyone could tell by the look on my face whether my mind was taking a vacation to visit sex-opolis with Jacob Black. Even my dad had started to become immune, rolling his eyes at the look instead of recoiling in obvious disgust.

It wasn't that my parents were openly saying I couldn't go to Jake's. A ban on Jacob Black would spark such a fearful amount of fury and lust for vengeance in the heart of Renesmee Cullen that no member of my family would ever risk it. But they'd kept me conveniently busy. A day at the aquarium, then a shopping trip in Seattle (we hung out with Lenny for a bit), and yesterday we saw a concert. A fucking bad ass concert that I couldn't even enjoy because Jacob Black wasn't there. It was my fifth favorite indie band, which is actually quite impressive considering how expansive my list of favorite indie bands is. And I was out of it half the time because Jake wasn't there. Today, we were supposed to go hunting. Sorry, but no. And could they be anymore obvious? They just got back from a hunting trip.

I said that I was going to the grocery store, silently thanking God that mom blocked my thoughts. Jasper raised an eyebrow when he sensed my excited mood, knowing that I definitely wasn't going to the grocery store. However, he didn't say anything, and I headed out without a hitch.

As soon as I passed the reservation's territory line, I texted my parents. They'd be upset, but they couldn't do anything until I choose to leave. Sorry, but I'm going to Jake's. He doesn't know, so don't blame him. Don't wait up. :P I got a few exasperated responses from my mother and a distraught text from my father, but they didn't threaten to come get me.

I parked in his driveway, noticing the strong scent of grease and heavy machinery. He was working the his garage. It was something he did all the time when I was younger, but he stopped taking on as many pet projects when he opened up shop in Port Angeles. I headed towards his garage in the back, and he ran out to meet me. I nearly catapulted into his arms, and he lifted me up eagerly, peppering my neck with kisses. I laughed as he set me back down.

"I missed you," He said earnestly, locking eyes with me. I leaned forward, kissing him slowly.

"Show me how much."

He shivered, a tremble ricocheting through his body. His eyes darkened, and he picked me up again. He walked over to the car he was renovating and pressed me up against the door before kissing me breathless. At first it started with slow, teasing brushes of his lips. I quickly lost my patience and growled, cupping his cheeks and bringing his lips forcefully down to mine. He complied, fisting his hands in the belt loops of my jeans. He grabbed to hard, though, and they snapped off. I made quick work of his greasy t-shirt, ripping it to shreds in my haste to get it off his body. He hooked his hands under my knees and wrapped my legs around his waist.

"Get in the car," I panted as his lips finally left mine to descend down my neck.

He nodded and opened the door, almost yanking it off in his rush to get me in the back seat. As soon as he had me horizontal, he crawled in to lay his body on top of mine. I pulled his mouth to mine, desperate for more of him. His hands crept up my shirt, and I pushed him off of me. At first he drew back, slightly hurt. But his eyes widened as he saw me taking of my shirt altogether, revealing my lacy black and nude bra underneath. I laughed at his surprise.

"What? You've seen me in a bra before." His eyes darkened.

"Not when you were underneath me," He said, his mouth descending back upon mine.

I shivered, thanking God that I didn't need to respond to what he just said. His words made me too flustered, and my brain was pretty much mush. The only functioning part of my brain was the one telling me to touch Jacob. To hold him closer. I listened to it, biting his lip and leaning back down to the seat with my arms looped around his neck, taking him with me. He groaned and fully pressed against me. The sensation of his weight pressing against all the lines of my body was too pleasant.

Jake unbuttoned my jeans, pushing them down to my knees so his hands could rest against the bare skin of my thighs. The were only just barely above the knee, but my heart started beating so quickly. It was almost too much, and I wanted more. One of his hands drifted up to clutch my hip, and I sighed at the pressure. His other hand traced up my inner thigh and his fingers brushed the thin piece of cloth covering my core. I gasped at the sensation. This was uncharted territory.

My whole body was buzzing with electricity. His fingers kept teasingly brushing over the same place, and it was driving me crazy. He smelled the wetness he was drawing from between my legs and growled. Then, he brushed my underwear aside and dragged his fingers along my slit. I whimpered and dug my nails into his back, trying to press him as close to me as possible. He rubbed me agonizingly slowly, just barely brushing my clit before I lost it.

"Jacob," I whined, panting. "Please, fuck, just- Jake, please touch me."

He moved his mouth over mine before sliding a finger inside of me. A high-pitched keen tumbled from my lips. He built up a steady rhythm, eventually sliding another finger in. I cried put, clawing at his back and angling my hips for his fingers to reach deeper. My legs clenched together at the feeling, his hand trapped between my thighs. I put a hand on his face and kissed him, sliding my tongue along his. I showed him how he was making me feel, and he growled. I decided that Jacob's growl was the sexiest sound I'd ever heard. He'd only ever made this sound with me, limbs tangled up with mine. I liked it that way.

His pace quickened, and sounds flew out of me that I'd never heard before. Moans and pants and sobs and pleading. My vocabulary consisted of "Jake" and "God" and "More." And also curse words. Obscenities I didn't know that I knew urged him on, telling him I was close. So close. His thumb began rubbing my clit in circular motions, and he crooked his fingers up. It was too much.

I screamed as an orgasm hit me. My first orgasm ever. It was that "better" feeling that I'd been itching for. Finally. The feeling wracked my body, and I shook. My nails dug into his back, and he hissed. When I finally came back down, I could hardly catch my breath. And the look he was giving me was starting to make me hot again. I shifted, and my knee just barely brushed against him. He hissed and leaned off of me, sitting in the seat upright. I sat up, suddenly determined. He saw the look on my face and shook his head.

"No. You don't have to."

"I want to," I insisted, leaning down to kiss him. His heart stuttered when I reached for his belt, undoing it hastily. I unzipped his jeans and pulled down the waistband of his boxers. I'd seen it before, when I walked in on him a few weeks ago, but it was even more intimidating up close. He was huge. Every single part of him was huge. I bit my lip, running my finger from head to base. His fingers dug into the seat, and he made a whimpering noise I'd never heard before. And I wanted to hear it again.

I knew that I needed to use some kind of lubricant, but there was no lotion around that I could use. And I was not going to use the nearby oil and car grease on his work table. I settled for licking my hand, running my tongue over my palm and each of my fingers. He watched me through half-lidded eyes, dazed. I touched him again, wrapping my hand around him. He moaned and his hips bucked.

I tried to remember how he did it, thumbing the head and gripping firmly. He groaned as I worked up and down his length, growling when I sped up. He was panting and biting his lips and gripping his hair so hard that I feared he'd rip it out of his head. I leaned forward and kissed him, slowing down my pace but gripping harder. He tore his lips away from mine.

"God, I can't. I'm gonna-"

I leaned down and ran my tongue along his shaft from base to tip. He keened, heart racing. I looked up just in time to see him come. His face was beautiful, and his expression danced on the line dividing pleasure and pain. He tumbled over, falling into pleasure. His moan was literally orgasmic. I was in awe that I had been able to do this to him. And I was incredibly proud of myself. Even more proud of myself than when I learned Klingon in a week. Which was pretty fucking proud.

He caught his breath while I kissed across the plains of his chest, tasting his chestnut skin. Once his heart had calmed down, he pulled my mouth to his. He kissed me heatedly, and I responded with equal fervor. The familiar heat was pooling in my stomach when I heard the crunch of footsteps on Jake's driveway. Jake must've heard it too, because he pulled away.

"Shit," I muttered, rushing to put my shirt back on. He zipped his jeans up and hurried to fasten his belt. He cursed when he realized that his shirt was torn to shreds outside the car. We hopped out, and I rushed to fix my hair. It was probably a mess. I looked in the mirror and saw a wicked case of behead. My face was flushed, and my lips were swollen. Yeah, totally not suspicious. I snatched up his torn shirt, throwing it with his rags. Jake rolled under the car and returned to doing whatever he was working on before. Which conveniently hid the already-healing hickey I left on his neck and his state of undress. I jumped up to sit on his work table, swinging my legs back and forth like I did when I was younger.

"You guys in there," Seth yelled as he knocked on the garage door. We didn't even get to respond before he raised it up. He looked around anxiously.

"Where's Jake? I know he's here," He murmured, distracted. I rolled my eyes and pointed to Jake as he rolled out from under the car. Seth didn't even notice Jake's lack of clothing. Figures. It's not like it's anything unusual.

"What's up," Jake asked, cleaning off his hands on his pants.

"Pack stuff. The newbies in Sam's pack are talking about leaving. Joining yours. Sam thinks you persuaded 'em to leave or something." Jake's face hardened.

"I like my pack small. Hell, you know that I didn't even wanna be an alpha. I don't want to deal with a bunch of fifteen year olds that can't follow direction. My pack isn't an alternative to Sam's when things get hard," He ranted, slamming his hands down on the table next to me. I reached out to cup his cheek, and he calmed.

"Tell them no, then. You're the boss. You make the calls," I told him quietly, kissing his cheek.

He wrapped his arms around me, leaning his forehead on my shoulder. I sighed and patted his head. He hates dealing with pack stuff. He's always been great with patrols and fighting. With defending the territory. His leadership in battle was a force to be reckoned with. But he doesn't like the hierarchy or the tough decisions that being alpha entails. Life was a lot easier when he was beta, or so I'd been told. He did his duty and only had himself to think about when he was off the clock. But now he has to worry about other wolves at all times. It wasn't what Jake wanted to do, but there was no one besides Sam that could even come close to doing his job.

"Seth," Jake said, turning to him. "Tell those punks that the pack isn't open to new recruits."

"And tell Sam that if he has any more problems with Jake because of something that's out of his control, he can fuck the hell off," I added. Seth grimaced.

"Maybe without the expletives," He mumbled.

"No," I said. "With them. If he doesn't like my language, we can talk personally." Jake chuckled and pulled me off the table, carrying me towards the back of the garage.

"Where are you guys going," Seth asked, distressed. Jake set me down.

"We're going on a bike ride." I gaped at him while Seth groaned.

"I'm leaving. You two are infuriating," Seth called out as he left.

"For real? You're taking me out on your motorcycle?"

"Yep. I figure you're plenty old enough and all," He grinned, rolling his bike out.

"I've been old enough for years," I muttered, crossing my arms. He raised an eyebrow.

"Is that sass I'm hearing?" I quickly righted my self, a hand to my forehead in salute.

"No sir, Sergeant Black, sir."

"Lieutenant," He corrected, taking a chug from the water bottle on his work table. I rolled my eyes.

"Please allow me to ride you, Lieutenant," I murmured huskily. He coughed, eyes wide.

"What?"

"Sorry. I meant ride with you. Silly mistake."

"Get on the damned bike," He growled. I laughed.

"I thought you never ask. Which, technically, you still haven't. That was more of a demand-"

"Renesmee," He warned dangerously. I chuckled hopping on. I scooted back for him to sit in front of me. Once he was on, I wrapped my arms around his waist, holding on tight. This was pretty much 80% of why I'd always wanted to go on a bike ride with him.

"So, why am I just now old enough to ride," I asked as we eased out of the garage.

"I've always wanted to take you, but your mom's always said no. She didn't really do well on her first motorcycle ride. Then again, she was the clumsiest person that's ever walked the earth."

"I don't know what she thinks will happen. I'm indestructible," I glowered.

"Half indestructible," Jake reminded me as we got on the road.

"Sure, sure," I said, making sure to tighten my grip.

"So, did she finally give her consent," I asked as he made some final adjustments. We were ready to go.

"No," He said, flashing me a devious grin. "I just felt like breaking the rules today."

My heart skipped a beat as he turned to face forward. I know he heard it. He revved the engine, its deafening roar concealing my hiss of, "Charming bastard." And then we were off.

A/N: I have finals next week, so I won't be able to post a chapter until the 23rd or so. But I'll make it extra good. I promise. Think of it as an early Christmas present. :) Favorite, follow, and review! You can make an impact in how the story goes. You just have to shout out your opinion. And tell me of you like Lenny! I wanna know. 'Til then, XOXO.
