In fact, Lily actually felt the opposite of what she said. As you should know, the opposite of hate it love, so therefore, Lily Evans actually loved James Potter.

But he did not know this, and he believed her every word, making him very depressed.

But that's beside the fact.

And this is where the story of their everlasting love starts.
