Author's Note: So I just recently revived my love for this movie by indulging in loads and loads of fanart and official screenshots. It's still very dear to my heart. Hope I did the characters justice!
I know, I know, everyone has their own special take on what really went down on the ship after the nightmare scene. Hope you'll enjoy it anyway.

Stay
"Would you sleep with me?" Anya asked quietly, as they made their way back to the room below deck. She was still shivering, even though she had showered and changed into warm clothes.
Dimitri smirked. "Sleep with you, your Highness? Wouldn't that cause quite the scandal."
"I said stay with me," she huffed. She blushed as she quickened her steps, distancing herself from him. He caught up with her. "Just in case I have the dream again," she clarified. "Don't get any ideas, you creep." Anya looked away from him and began tugging at a loose string in the hem of her pajama shirt as he opened the door for her.
"Where do you want me to sleep?" Dimitri asked, looking around the room. "We aren't exactly in the luxury suite, you know."
"Where you belong," Anya spat out, and pointed to the floor.
Dimitri rolled his eyes. "You mean, where I was already sleeping."
She nodded, smirking. "But closer to me. So if I get out of bed again, you'll feel it."
His shoulders fell, and he let out a tired sigh. "You're always thinking, aren't you?"
Anya chuckled, and pulled the covers over her legs. Pooka whimpered at the foot of the mattress. "I am!"
Dimitri dragged his sheets over, closer to her bed like she demanded. "No pillow?" he asked, hopeful.
"You didn't need one before."
"It would be nice," he muttered. "You're already sleeping in my bed."
Anya stuck out her tongue and leaned over to switch off the lamplight.
Vlad snored: a long and thunderous rumble erupted in his throat.
Dimitri sighed. She took pity on him.
He felt a pillow fall right in the space between his sheets and her bed.
"Thanks."
She didn't answer him. "...you're such a baby," he heard her say.
