So, somehow this chapter got deleted a few months ago... I'm not going to question why, it just happened. I'll just say this to new readers from that time to now:

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL FIRST CHAPTER OF AKATSUKI MOTHER!

That is all. Thank you for your time, and enjoy.

Haruno Sakura awoke early in the morning to the calls of one of her eight children. She sighed before slipping out of bed and moving silently towards her children's bedroom. The woman was greeted with the sight of two of her children rolling on the floor punching and kicking each other as the other six watched. When one of them glanced up from the fight and spotted Sakura, he moved towards her and attached himself to her hip, holding the bottom of her nightshirt in somewhat of a death grip. He was most definitely a mother's boy, not that he would ever admit to it.

"Daichi, Takeru, stop this fighting immediately." She said in a stern voice, giving the boys a glare that said I-am-not-afraid-to-beat-you-to-high-heaven. The boys stopped and looked at Sakura before bowing their heads in shame. They hated to disappoint their mother, even if it meant letting go of insults that the boys threw at each other.

"We're sorry, mother." They said to the woman, before looking up to her with sad eyes that they knew she couldn't resist. It wasn't as if she could stay mad at them for more than five seconds. She walked over and gave both of them a kiss on the forehead, smiling at them when she pulled back.

"As long as you don't do it again. Now come on, I'll go and make you all breakfast." She said taking the hand of the son that still clung to her side, and refused to let go. He did it everyday, so Sakura had become accustomed to it. They all moved towards the kitchen, the eight children sitting at the table waiting to be fed. Daichi and Takeru still glared at each other, while the others glared at the mother's boy for sticking to their mother and lessening the time they each had her undivided attention.

Sakura finished the first batch of pancakes and placed a plate of them in front of each son, kissing the crowns of their heads as she did. They each thanked their mother before digging into their breakfast while Sakura continued to cook. Having eight growing seven year old boys to feed really cut into her budget, but the money she earned from her research kept her and her family living a pretty good life. Not to mention the money her sons earned on missions with their genin teams. After the boys third helpings she sat down herself and began to eat.

"I'm going to be at the hospital for most of the day, so I would like you to tell me what you will be doing today in case there is some form of emergency. Kane, could you please start?"

"Yes mother, I will be going to train with my team at training ground eight until late afternoon." Answered her orange haired son. He was a relatively quite child who looked exactly like his father, as did all of his brothers looked like theirs. The only difference really was his emerald green eyes that her had gotten from his mother. Sakura nodded before turning to Takumi.

"I will be going to the weapons shop to pick out new weapons for my puppets." Answered the red haired boy. Not only was he a mini version of his father, but he had also inherited his father's love of puppetry.

Sakura supposed it couldn't be helped; of course the boys would take after their fathers considering the fact that compared to their father's DNA, her genes were much weaker. They wouldn't take after her much, except the three that had her emerald green eyes. Lucky for them, her pink hair was a recessive gene in her family, so they had a zero percent chance of inheriting her hair. Her attention was brought back to her children when her son Takeru spoke.

"I'm going to go find some f*cking animals in the forest to sacrifice to Jashin-sama!" He said, his green eyes shining with anticipation. Sakura hit him on the head with her fist, telling him that he would not use that kind of language under her roof. It was one of the things that she wished he hadn't inherited. As for his worship of Jashin-sama, she guessed it was her own fault. Why she left a book on Jashinism on the bookshelf in the den, she would never know. Yuuta, the little miser of the family, spoke next.

"I'm going to remain home and balance the finances." Sakura nodded, secretly happy that she had a son to handle these things and was even able to give her advice on how she should handle the money that they earned. It sure as hell came in handy when they had moved into their current home, which was significantly larger than their old one. Not to mention that the boys were happy that they no longer had to share rooms with each other.

"I'm going to the weapons shop with Takumi, and then the art store to pick up some more clay." Said Daichi cheerfully. The young blonde always had a smile on his face, and opted to keep his hair long as well as tied up; just as his father had. In fact, the only difference between the two was that Daichi had her eyes. It seemed that the only way you could think of some the boys as hers was because of their green eyes.

"Yukio?" Sakura asked softly, turning to her blue skinned son. He was by far the tallest of the boys and it didn't seem like he was going to stop growing anytime soon. Not that she really minded, he had more strength as well and it helped when they went grocery shopping as he was able to care three times the bags as the other boys.

"The lake, of course!" Answered her son, a wide grin spread across his face, his sharp teeth showing. Besides herself and her other sons, people found his smile and his stature to be a bit intimidating. Though Sakura knew that he would never hurt anyone unless it was absolutely necessary, and she was thankful for that. He was also useful for breaking up fistfights between the other boys when she was not present.

"No where of importance, mother." Answered Akira, one of the two warring alpha's of the group. She had expected him to answer as such; the boy never really let her in around the others. He was surprisingly affectionate when the others where not around though. For that reason alone she could believe that he was his father's son. Besides that and their looks, the two were nothing alike. That was, of course, to the ones who knew of his father's other personality. His original one, Sakura had a feeling, was the one that Akira had inherited.

"The library." Stated Ryuu, the other alpha of the group. Sakura nodded, knowing that 'library' was his code word for 'going to work with you'. She thought it was cute how he wanted to stay at her side all the time; he was always quiet and never caused her any trouble. In a way he was like his father, quiet and reserved, yet he was such a mother's boy that he seemed to go against the personality Sakura thought he would originally possess.

"I'm going to get ready for work, when you're done, put your dishes in the sink." Sakura said while placing her own dishes into the sink before walking out of the room to ready herself.

Her normal work outfit consisted of a sleeveless red dress that went to her knees with a half buttoned white dress shirt that she had kept from one of the days her surrogate brother thought that the outfit was too showy and insisted she cover up. It was surprisingly comfortable, so it remained as part of the outfit as something that was somewhat of a lab coat. Black stiletto heels adorned her feet and a pair of pantyhose covered her legs, keeping her from showing too much naked skin and giving her the appearance of a hooker. Not that anyone ever thought that, knowing that Sakura's life revolved around her eight "little bundles of joy".

Sakura leaned back in her chair and sighed. After three hours of research and experimentation she had finally come up with a beta-drug for one the illnesses that had been plaguing some of the younger children for the past month.

The disease, known as Chakra Corruption, which normally only occurred in adult shinobi, and was not a fatal disease. All that would happen was that bits of a person's chakra was altered into a corrupted into a form that caused it to inject itself into a blood self and continued to increase the amount of chakra in the cell until it burst. Since adults had more blood cells and larger bodies, it took longer for the corrupted chakra to spread, and there wasn't enough corrupted chakra created in the person to cause any major lose of blood cells.

Children, on the other hand, where smaller and had less blood cells. Corrupted chakra spread more quickly and infected nearly all of the blood cells, causing death after just a few days of infection. Medics could keep them alive up to a month by extracting the corrupted chakra again and again, but because a child's chakra was more susceptible to corruption than an adults; all of the chakra was corrupted, and basic medical knowledge proves that all removal of chakra equals death. Therefore, death was inevitable in ever case the hospital had had so far.

Hopefully, the drug that Sakura had produced would be able to cure Chakra Corruption and finally end all of the deaths that had been occurring. She would deliver it later to Tsunade before setting off to her herb garden in the forest. Sakura glanced over to the couch in her lab and saw Ryuu sitting quietly with a book in his hand, completely absorbed. A smile spread across her face before calling the boy over. He responded immediately to her voice, eager to be near his mother after sitting aside while she did her work.

"Shall we go out to lunch now, Ryuu?" She asked warmly to her son. Ryuu nodded happily before following his mother out the door and through the hallways of the hospital. It was a somewhat long walk to the main wings of the hospital, the two passing barely anyone. Sakura supposed that it was because of the fact that this underground wing was her own personal lab and patient area.

The pair heard many hellos and greetings coming from behind the doors of patients' rooms. Through the small window faces could be seen of the greeters, smiles or small smirks adorning their faces. Her patients had a great liking of her and they showed it every time they saw her. She knew each and everyone of them inside and out; their likes and dislikes, what was wrong and how to fix it and towards her more mentally unstable patients, how to act without them attacking her. Sakura was the top doctor in Konoha, known not only for her medical expertise, but also her expertise in psychology. There has never been a patient that she could not get through to and heal.

It made Sakura happy that she was able to help them in so many ways, and most of the time they were one of her top priorities. Of course, everyone knew who came above everything else, her sons. They had been her greatest medical achievements, and most likely one of the greatest steps every taken in medical history. Nearly eight years ago, Sakura had successfully created an artificial womb, which had produced eight healthy children, without the dangers of pregnancy or child delivery even being added into the equation.

She supposed that her research had begun when her best friend, Ino, had lost her child during her unknown pregnancy on a mission. The girl had been devastated to find that she had lost the child that she and her boyfriend had tried for months to produce. Yes, they had been fifteen at the time, but the two felt they were ready for a child. Not to mention that with the career choice of a shinobi, there was always a high chance that you would meet an early demise. Sakura, being the kind-hearted girl that she was at the time, began to create a method that would allow kunoichis to have children without carrying the actually child or giving birth to it. After nearly three months of painstaking research, she had finally managed to create a trial method. Two weeks later, the perfect opportunity arose for her, the perfect test subjects falling straight into her hands.

A powerful missing-nin organization known as the Akatsuki had taken her from her home lab one night and demanded that she examine and heal all of the organization's members. During the process of the examinations, she had gotten the one ingredient that had been missing from her research, the one thing that every male in her village refused to give her in worry that the test would be a failure; sperm samples. After the examinations and healing had been completed, she slipped out of the base undetected and raced back to Konoha, her precious samples in hand.

Instead of resting like her friends and family had suggested she do, Sakura had gotten straight to work on creating the artificial wombs. It was afterwards the hard part began. She already had the process of insemination down, what she didn't have were female eggs that she could use to be inseminated with. No sensible kunoichis would give her their eggs just to have them used to create the children of criminals. After a few days Sakura came to a conclusion… she would use her own eggs to inseminate.

Everything had gone well; the eggs were fertilized and were holding quite nicely in the eight separate wombs that she had created. The fetuses were developing just as they would inside of a real woman's womb. All she really had to do was siphon nutrients to the fetuses through a make shift umbilical cord. In just short nine months, at the age of fifteen, Sakura became the mother of eight Akatsuki offspring. She had fallen in love with each of them instantly, and she was sure that the same could be said for them.

Taking care of them had been somewhat easy. Sakura had used chakra to force her breast into producing milk to feed them for the first year or so, using shadow clones so each child would have a breast to feed on all by themselves. It made things easier because when they became hungry, it was at the same time. If one of them was fed before the others, they would become extremely fussy. But through all of the crying, the late nights, and the headaches, Sakura had loved every moment of motherhood, every minute she spent with them being pure bliss. That was, until the rest of the population found out about there existence.

At first, many of thought that Sakura had gotten knocked-up during her kidnapping. Though it was quickly proved to be false when Tsunade preformed a medical examination, stating that Sakura had never given birth, and was still, in fact, a virgin. It was then that the pink-haired kunoichi shared her research with her mentor. Tsunade had been shocked to say the least at her findings, and quickly announced the process to the public. Sakura soon became known as a saint amongst the women in the village, kunoichi and civilian alike. Before using the process on anyone, Sakura preformed it on Ino, using her eggs and her boyfriend's, Shikamaru, sperm. Nine months later, the happy couple had a little bundle of joy of their very own, a little girl named Mizuki. Ino had never been happier in her life.

For the next seven years Sakura had perform the process over and over again for numerous women. She traveled from village to village teaching it to any medic Nin with the capability. Then, she took her research a step further. With her friend Lee in mind, she changed the use for the DNA given to her, from producing children to re-growing destroyed body parts. Not even a month after her research began, the ability to recreate limbs was finished and perfected. Lee had regained his left leg, and his Primary Lotus had never been better.

Unfortunately, with the time and effort it took to recreate the limbs, the procedure was much more expensive than that of the artificial pregnancy. So, Sakura came up with a new option for those who had to have their limbs amputated. She created something that she called Auto-mail. It was a metal recreation of a limb that attached to the patients nerves, giving a person the ability to move it about as they pleased. Since the parts need for the creation was relatively cheap, and the production didn't take as long as a limb did, most civilians used Auto-mail instead.

This triumph had also earned her some major points with the villages that Konoha had been warring with. So in exchange for her medical research, the villages had come to a truce, leaving the world in peace. After a hundred years of trying to come up with a solution to the wars, Sakura had solved it in eight. This caused the amount of missions to decrease, so Sakura mainly remained in the village now, working at the hospital and researching cures for diseases that plagued the Hidden Villages from time to time. Three months ago she had come up with a cure for Sickle Cell Syndrome, her paycheck had once again risen, giving her even more unneeded money, though Yuuta seemed to think otherwise.

Sakura and Ryuu sat on the dock over looking the lake of the Uchiha compound. No one had been allowed to enter since the Uchiha massacre had taken place, except for Sasuke. Once he had left, no one dared to enter. That was, until, Ryuu was born. Being of Uchiha blood, he was entitled to live in the Uchiha district. Not to mention that he was the son of the would-be-clan leader, so, in a way, he was the owner of the compound.

The two would normally come here when Sakura had a day off and it was Ryuu's day to spend quality time with her. He always enjoyed laying his head on his mother's lap while she ran her fingers through his hair in a soothing manner. Most of the time the boy would even fall asleep, causing Sakura to just marvel at his cuteness. She could never get over how beautiful her sons were.

"Sakura-san, your presence is required at the hospital. Lady Tsunade says it is of the utmost importance." Said a voice from behind her. She turned to see one of her old Anbu teammates, Neji. Sakura gave him a small smile before gently awaking Ryuu from his slumber. The boy looked at her with questioning eyes before noticing Neji behind them; he understood that his mother was being summoned. He felt a small spark of hurt coming from his heart as he watched his mother walk away to complete her duties as a Konoha kunoichi. Sometimes, he really hated the village.

Well, what do you all think? Review if you like and send some ideas my way. Although I already have the plot figured out, any interesting twists you send me might be added to the story. Also, if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask, I will try to answer them at the beginning of the second chapter, so be sure to read the memo at the top of the page.
