A/N: Hello everyone! It's been a while, I know. But I've got great news that some may or may not be aware of…

I've fixed up the story! As in, I've re-claimed my story and written it how I wanted it to be! Some chapters have some minor changes – nothing that changes the direction/plot of the story – while others have been re-written completely (again, no change in plot). So feel free to go back, check 'em out, and enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own anything except my OC, concepts and ideas. Akira Toriyama owns everything else.

"You sure are awfully hungry kitten," Ty commented, taking a seat next to her at the counter. "I know you've always had an appetite, but this…"

"I can't help it. I'm pregnant and always hungry," she shrugged.

"No surprise there," Byrne chuckled as he handed her a glass of water.

"I'm surprised she didn't make a fuss over Ty calling her 'kitten'," Bo whispered.

"She can't be a kitten if she's going to give birth to one," Byrne whispered back.

"You know I can hear you two whispering behind the counter," Kat glanced at them, taking a bite out of the large burger. "This is so good! For something not completely cooked and drenched in fat, this food is amazing. Kudos to you guys."

"Why thank you," Bo adjusted his glass, eyes twinkling. "Only the best for our lovely friend."

"Plus, we kind of don't want to kill you," Byrne pointed to her belly. "Not that our food is crap but yeah. Like Bo said, only the best for you."

She smiled, "You guys are the best."

After finishing her meal, she washed it down with more water before sighing in content. That was delicious and she had a feeling her little bundle thought so too. She would have to come and eat here more often. Not only was the food great, she enjoyed being around the guys. Things were a bit different now, but they were the exact same people she knew all those years back, the ones who took her in and the ones who cared for her. It felt like old times and it made her feel comfortable, almost like a sense of home.

Speaking of home, it was almost time to leave for Namek and yet here she was not being able to go. She was bummed out. Traveling out to space, who wouldn't be excited and jump at the opportunity to go? She was surprised and very upset when Raditz broke it to her that she wouldn't be going. She had figured it revolved around his possessiveness. So imagine her surprise when he cited the baby. Like legitimately! He was serious. He knew space. He knew atmospheric pressures and changes. And he would not risk it regardless of how easy a mission it would be. She had no other choice but to give in. She was literally surprised at his concern over her wellbeing. Huh, she probably should have never made him touch her stomach.

"Hey what's wrong?" Byrne inquired upon noticing her distant expression.

Shaking her head and snapping out of her little reverie, she assured him she was fine. "Just thinking about some things."

"You look a little down," he leaned against the counter and observed his fellow patrons at their bar.

"I guess I am? A little?" she sighed. Oh boy, how could she explain this one?

Her friends had to go somewhere far away to run some important errands and she couldn't go because she was pregnant? Yeah, that sounded good. There was no lie present. Just some missing details. Like they were going to another planet… or that they were going to collect some magic balls in order to bring back some friends from the dead.. yeah, the simpler version was better.

He assured her that they were only looking out for her. "We'd probably do the same, but hey, we'll be more than happy to keep you company in the meantime," he smiled. "Plus you can eat all the food you want and inflate Bo's head even more."

That was an idea on how to spend her time.

But she did have some other ideas as well. She had intended on spending the days with her parents. After she had officially broken the news, they were awfully ecstatic about the whole ordeal. Yeah they really didn't know the full of it but regardless, a baby!

And the baby's father was beginning to come up a lot as well. Their hints were subtle but she caught them well. She always tried to stray away from the topic for certain reasons.

Mom plz we're not married. But then again there was that thing where he… shit. No!

Either way if they wanted to meet him, they'd have to wait some time because he was leaving for Namek any day now.

"ROSHI CLEAN UP YOUR PORN YOU DISGUSTING OLD MAN!" Bulma yelled at the old master as he and Oolong immediately scrambled to pick up their 'goods'.

"This isn't even good porn," Kat looked at the cover of one of the DVDs. "I swear I've seen this woman in the weekend market selling shoes. They weren't bad actually."

Raditz picked up a magazine and flipped through it, "You're into some weird stuff old man."

"That's mine!" Oolong jumped up and snatched it out of his hands.

"Does it matter?" he questioned.

"East City has a very interesting red light district if you perverts are into weird stuff," Kat commented.

"Why are you giving them information?" Bulma looked over at her friend.

"Because they could never afford what East City has, or rather had, to offer," Kat grinned. "The stuff was weird but it wasn't cheap. Look at all this crap, nothing is quality. They probably got these movies from weirdos in alleys and traded their stuff for the magazines. C'mon Roshi where's the good porn?"

"I think I'll wait outside," Krillin slowly stepped outside after just entering.

"And how would you know the luxuries of East City?" Oolong questioned, pointing his stubby finger at her accusingly.

"Pig please," she scoffed, "Before I met you guys, my old pals and I would oftentimes get clients from the district. As a result we would be in the city for periods of time. We rarely did client work but we made an exception to this because the checks. were. fat. The rewards were always huge! At the time I was too young to be directly in the district itself, but oh boy these clients and their requests were more than enough for me to know just what kind of place it was. You want quality work, you pay quality money. You can't pay quality money, they hire us to take everything you have. Same thing goes for many of their service shops. You can't pay for what they give you? It's cool. They'll just hire people to take everything on your name."

"Pig save up the money!" Roshi and Oolong ran upstairs to their special savings.

"Heh, I remember these old clients of ours owned a movie shop and as a reward they gave us this box with, well, movies. We were expecting some cash plus what good would carrying porn around do? Since it was East City, we had a sense that whatever was on the disks was something weird so we tossed the box in the ocean."

Roshi and Oolong's loud footsteps could be heard from upstairs as they ran down and outside to the shore.

"Hey, I think Gohan's here!" they heard Krillin call out from outside.

Stepping outside, they were greeted to the site of the young boy rocking some rather fancy clothes and a new haircut. He looked absolutely adorable.

"What have you done to the boy?" Raditz blanched.

"I got rid of that mess of hair he had and turned him into a respectable young man," Chi Chi admired her handy work.

"Why?" he blurted.

Kat had to stifle a laugh as Raditz and Chi Chi argued over Gohan's appearance. 'He's a Saiyan, he doesn't need to be a respectable young man.' 'He's my baby! He needs to look his best!' It was music to her ears.

"You had no say, did you?" she stated more than asked as Gohan approached with a small blush on his cheeks. He timidly shook his head no as he set his luggage down next to the others'. "Well I think it looks great," she smiled.

"Thank you," his blush grew.

"Alright everyone!" Bulma grabbed everyone's attention. "If everyone's ready!"

After having a stare-down with Chi Chi, Raditz walked over to Kat to say his goodbye.

"You know, if the trip there takes about a month, counting the duration there and the time back, I might be ready to pop by the time you get back."

"With my assistance, we'll be back in no time," he smirked.

"I'll hold you to that," she lightly poked his chest with a small smile.

The departing group gathered at the rising platform as they prepared to finally take off. There was no going back now as the ship launched into space.

Over two months? Damn.

"So Kat," Oolong slowly approached, "About those movies..."

"They're at the bottom of the ocean by now you perverted pig!"

Raditz was rather impressed with the ship. Something so large moving so fast, it could possibly rival his space pod. The pod was faster but he definitely wasn't crammed inside this ship. In fact there was more than enough room to walk around and keep to himself and get some semblance of training done. Perhaps the trip there wouldn't be as dreadful as he had originally thought.

Chi Chi had given Gohan some homework to do so that his mind could stay in top shape while on their way to Namek. But oftentimes Gohan found himself asking his uncle questions about space, planets, and such instead. It was one thing to read about it. It was another to actually know someone whom had traveled space and various planets.

Raditz didn't mind. If it meant Gohan disobeying his mother, he'd endure the boy's questions. Albeit his knowledge mostly came from his time scouring and taking over planets on Frieza's behalf. His nephew had a lot of questions but he would answer as many as he could until he grew tired of it, only to repeat the process the next 'day.' It certainly made time fly by. And if anything, it appeared as if they would finally be arriving.

Krillin and Gohan were filled with excitement as the planet came into view. Raditz simply wanted to get things over with.

"Krillin," he began, towering behind the smaller man as they gazed out at Namek.

"Uh, yes?" Krillin replied, startled by the Saiyan's presence.

"When we land on the planet, I'd like to speak with you," he kept his gaze on the planet.

"Oh, um, okay," Krillin laughed nervously as he looked up at the Saiyan then turned his attention to Bulma who had instructed them all to buckle down.

All ready to go, she commanded the ship to land. Unfortunately it was as rough as they imagined it to be. It felt as if their brain were rattling inside their skulls. Heh, they weren't even on the planet yet and they were all probably going to suffer some form of head and neck trauma.

When all suddenly fell still and silent, they waited a few moments before unbuckling and seeing out of the ship's clear panel.

Gohan and Krillin were eager to get out and explore but Bulma stopped them, warning that they needed to check the contents in the atmosphere first; they couldn't just assume that the planet would have fresh breathable oxygen.

"I think we're fine," Gohan pointed over at the clear panel.

Bulma fell over at the sight of Raditz already outside and taking in his surroundings.

The planet was a giant wasteland. But aside from that, something felt off. He knew little to nothing about the planet or the Namekians, but he did know that this rotten stench was not normal.

"Raditz you could have killed us all!" Bulma yelled behind the group. "What if there wasn't any oxygen on the planet? We would have all suffocated on the ship!"

"Hm?" he glanced over his shoulder at her, "Well there was. Now be quiet before you alert the entire planet of our arrival."

She huffed and grumbled to herself as she pulled out the Dragon Radar. She sighed in relief when it actually got some readings. She in Krillin celebrated in excitement, they could finally begin collecting the Dragon Balls!

"Hey, Uncle Raditz," Gohan approached his uncle, "Do you feel that?"

Raditz nodded. He didn't like this.

"Feel what, Gohan?" Krillin approached the two.

Gohan pointed over in a direction and sure enough, Krillin could sense something. There were two actually… and they felt..strong… and…

Seeing as how Kami and Piccolo were strong, Bulma suggested they were probably Namekians.

Raditz shook his head, "Those aren't Namekians."

"Not Namekians? Then who else could it be?" she questioned, looking at the group.

"What if it was Vegeta?" Krillin tried to joke, attempting to hide his own uneasiness about the situation. "What if Vegeta was on the planet-"

Their attention was directed above at the sound and sight of something all too familiar.

Son of a bitch. It was him. It had to be him. He must have learned about the Dragon Balls.

"I-Is that-" Krillin struggled for words.

"W-where have I seen one of those before," Bulma laughed nervously.

It was a Saiyan space pod.

Vegeta was arriving on the planet.

"Hey Krillin," Bulma looked over at her friend.

"Yeah?"

"Shut up."

"I know," he hung his head with a sigh.

A/N: Krillin plz.

Hope you enjoyed! As always, I love to hear what you think! :)

Also, I'm trying to be more in line with my stories now because sometimes things can get a little hectic *cough* school *cough cough* but I've come to realize that writing is a great stress reliever for me. So for the most part, every so often I'll post 'updates' on my profile to sort of communicate the flow of things because this update was way overdue and I'm terribly sorry for that.
