He was so excited to find the matching letter to the one she held in her hand, she smiled at his boyish eagerness as he read aloud. She couldn't help but feel a slight tugging as she listened to his voice. For a second she let herself believe that he was telling these beautiful words to her, and not reading someone else's promise of love.

His voice faltered, and changed. "I love you..." He almost whispered, and she knew that he wasn't just narrating someone else's words.
