I could only stare as she walked towards me. Two strands of her ebony hair framed her face, as the rest of her hair was pulled back into a neat bun. Her dress looked painfully beautiful on her. Long and white as snow. She seemed to walk too slowly. I wanted her by my side already, damn it! Finally she made her way up the single stair and I gripped her hand. She looked up and smiled at me. I couldn't hear the words of the man next to me. All I could pay attention to was her.

Kagome, I swear, there was never a name as wonderful. Neither a person. Kikyo could never make me feel like I do now.

I think it's funny. How I can love her, and she could love me. Every night, I would watch her sleep. Every night until I finally told her, I loved her.

Flashback

"Well, good night InuYasha." she said that night.

"Wait, Kagome..." I needed to see those beautiful eyes again.

"What is it?" she looked worried. I got lost in her chocolate eyes.

"I love you." I blurted out.

"I love you too." she smiled. Then I walked over and kissed her for the very first time.

End of Flashback

The man next to me stopped talking, and I knew it was my turn to speak. I raised my hand to her cheek and lightly caressed it as I confidently said...

"I do."

"I do." she smiled again.

"You may now kiss the bride." the man finally said. I leaned down and kissed Kagome. I pulled back to look at her again.

I tied to her in every human way now.

She was my wife.

And tonight, after we jumped back into the well, I would be bound to her in every demon way possible too.

She would be my mate.

"I love you." she whispered.

"I love you, too." I whispered back.
