Author's Note:

Sorry, I forgot about this. Actually I put it off until I forgot about it, remembered and repeated the cycle until a little review from Obsessed with Greek Myths reminded me that I was just leaving you guys hanging. Thank you for that. So here it is, complete. Sorry for my long absence. I hope it was worth the wait.

*And of course here is a disclaimer that these characters do not belong to me

It had been a long day for Hermes, and he was ready for a bit of fun. He handed off his duties to one of the minor goddesses (hey they asked to be more involved), and decided to head down to New York City. As he walked around the block he spotted a very familiar Maserati. Where the sun chariot was, the sun god was even closer. In fact, there he was, leading a pretty young blonde to the car. Hermes smirked and intercepted the couple.

"Fernando, I cannot believe you!" He wailed in the most offensively flamboyant manner he could mange. "I thought what we had was different." Apollo's face contorted into a look of horror as he turned to his female companion, just in time to catch her backhand.

"Ashley, baby, this is not what it looks like. I have no idea who he is, I swear," Apollo pleaded to the woman.

"Actually, its Ashlyn. My friends were right; you're nothing but a player. Now get your hands off me," the woman hissed as she pulled away from Apollo. Hermes saw another opening.

"As if our blood was not a deep enough connection," Hermes sobbed into Apollo's shoulder. He could hear Ashlyn's disgust.

"You really do go after anything that moves, don't you?" Hermes looked up to see

Ashlyn disappear around the corner.

"So how's it going brother?" Hermes innocently questioned. Apollo glowered in response. "What? Lost your sense of humor?"

"That's not what I would consider funny," Apollo responded with a pout. "What am I supposed to do now?"

"Maybe we could go head to the camp, I bet you have some kids to introduce yourself to."

"So do you, little brother," Apollo remarked affectionately, apparently having forgiven Hermes. But as they hopped in the car, Hermes knew to keep his eye out for Apollo's payback.

A/N: Sorry it's not much, but I hope your curiosity has finally been sated. Feedback is appreciated. I do not think there will be another installment. I haven't read PJO in a while; I've moved on to other fandoms.
