Michael had chased Jamie all the way down the stairs, blood dripping from the blood-stained kitchen knife. The small girl looked up at her uncle, tears dripping from her dark eyes, and blood seeping t through her costume.

The large, masked man slowly began to make his way downstairs toward the small girl. Whimpering and sobbing loudly to herself all Jamie could do was crawl. Her masked uncle made it down to the end of the stairs, and grabbed her forcefully by the ankle. "No!" Jamie cried, squirming to break free from the murderer's grip.

He raised the knife high, and Jamie closed her eyes…

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Looking around for a split second, Jamie's tears had paused as Michael gently put her back down. The masked man rolled up his sleeve slightly to reveal a watch. Jamie watched him, confused and still uneasy. Micheal's hands fell to his side as he lowered his head and shook it slowly. Finally he headed toward the school doors.

"Wh-where are you going?" Jamie hesitated to ask. Michael looked back to look at his young, traumatized niece. "It's time for my break." He finally said. Jamie's draw nearly dropped. He talked! "I'll be back in ten."

Jamie watched as Michael left the school house. What just happened? She thought to herself.
