This story is quite sad but i wanted to do it because i know cancer affects so many people, many of them are good and amazing people, some of them are still with us whilst others are not and i find it really sad. I know someone who's dies of it quite recently and it made me write this. So this is dedicated to everyone who has and had has cancer. You are all really brave people!

Brittany couldn't stop the tears form cascading down her face as she gazed at the letter in front of her. Her whole body shook as she reads it over and over and over again, hoping the words will just dissapear.

"B?"

Santana's concerned voice broke her from wherever she was, it hurt, her voice was like a knife to the chest as she realized for the first time, this is real.

"Brittany?"

The Latina hugged the blond from behind as she too looked at the letter. Brittany could feel her embrace tighten with the more she read. When the older girl started kissing her neck, she knew that Santana had finshed reading. Sex was always the way the Latina solved things, accept this time it couldn't be solved...

"S stop." she whispered pushing herself away from the shorter girl. She turned around to meet her girlfriend's pained expression and let out a small sob."You can't fix this San. You can't fix this."

The Latina gritted her teeth and pulled the girl into her arms."I can try B. A couple of months and you'll be fine again Britt."

Brittany sighed."This isn't like some cold S. Im dying!"

"NO YOUR NOT!" shouted Santana shaking the girl by the shoulders."You not! Your not! Stop saying that! Why are you saying that! Stop it!"

"San?" The blond looked at the brunette, confused.

"Your going to live B. You have every right to live! You still havn't achieved your dream of becoming a professional dancer, we havn't even completed college yet! You wanted kids! You wanted marrige! This isn't fair!" she growled storming off towards the phone.

Brittany quickly followed her."What are you doing?"

"I am fixing this!" She picked up the phone and began punching in digits, ignoring her girlfriend's cries to stop."Hello?... Yes this is Santana Lopez... No... No... No! i want to know what they are going to do about my girlfriend Brittany Woods... Yes... Well you tell him... What! Let me speak to him!... Why not!... listion here i w-"

Brittany ripped the phone out of Santana hands."I'm sorry about that. She's just over reacting... Yes i'll see you Thursday bye!" She dropped the phone on the table and faced the seething Latina."You can't do that Santana, they're doing all they can!"

Santana growled and advanced towards her, The blond couldn't help but feel a bit scared and stepped back."They are not doing enough! To them this is just another person with cancer but to me... I love you Brittany, i wanted no want to spend my life with you! Don't you understand!"

Brittany's back hit the wall, the Latina walked up to her until they were nose to nose."Of course i understand! But your not the one with the cancer and... I don't like it when your like this..."

Tears gathered in her eyes and Santana quickly wiped them away gently."I'm sorry." she whispered."I'm soo sorry."

She gave Brittany a hug and a loving peck on the lips."I love you Santana."

The brunette gave her a small rare genuine smile."Te amo B. We will get through this B."

"Promise." Brittany knew it didn't matter if Santana promised or not because it wouldn't change a thing, she was still dying and she knew Santana knew it too because the Latina didn't reply, only tightened her grip and let out a small sad sigh.

This was one thing they wouldn't be able to get through...

This is a sad story and i'm not sure i want to do a sequel. If i get 10 reviews i'll do a sequel :)
