something that me and Skylark Evanson were talking about on the bus a few days ago.

DISCLAIMER: the idea is Skylark's, but plot is mine.

"Everyone, sit down!" I commanded. My idea was gold. And I was going to make a fortune off of it.

"What's this all about?" James asked, sitting on the neon orange couch. "Is this another one of your stupid pop-star-scientist ideas?"

"Hey!" Logan said.

"Sorry. But he usually has stupid ideas."

"This one isn't stupid," I said. "It's awesome."

"What is it?" Kendall asked.

"The 'Double-decker Magic School Bus,'" I said proudly. I was sure that this idea was going to work.

"What is that?"

"It's like a school on a bus. The desks fold down from the seats and the teacher stands up at the front and it's going to be awesome."

"How are you going to write? You know, what if you go over a big bump and everyone scribbles over their papers?" Logan asked.

"It has that shock-resistant stuff on it."

"And what about gas? It'd be really expensive to be driving around all day."

"Well with the money they save by not having an air-conditioner or a heater and expensive lighting and all those utilities, there'll be enough money for gas."

"You need gym classes," Kendall said.

"Well… there'll be a gym on the roof. With… safety-rails so no one goes flying over."

"What if you're playing… hockey and the puck goes out of bounds and out into the street?"

"There'll be a secret stash of pucks and other equipment and crap if any of it runs out."

"What if the secret stash runs out?"

"Push-ups for the rest of gym class!" I said.

"What if it's raining?"

"Push-ups for the rest of gym class!"

"What about tunnels? You can't avoid those," James said.

"Push-ups for the rest of gym class!"

"A double-decker can't fit under a tunnel!"

"Then the driver will announce on the PA system-thing that everyone has to go to the first floor and the top two levels will collapse."

"What if there's a fire?" Logan asked. "Or another emergency?"

"Ladders will shoot out from every window and people will be able to get out."

"Bathrooms?" James asked. "Water fountains? Any of that?"

"It'll be like a charter-bus in the back with the bathroom everything."

"Lockers?"

"You put your stuff under the seat."

"Hmm… yeah that is a good idea," Logan said.

"Like I said, it's genius!"

"Except for the fact that it's totally illogical."
