"Hey Nagihiko, I heard they're having a new product at the parfait shop, and it's being released today."
Nagihiko looked oddly at Rima. "Let me guess..."
"Yup."
"But what if I don't want to?"
Rima stared. "Well, that's too bad."
And so their very short conversation ended. How they managed to communicate with each other with so little words, I have no idea.
After the Guardian meeting, Rima and Nagihiko head out to the parfait shop. It was a small, cafe like place, with colorful paint and something about it that made you giddy. Happy and giddy.
The new product was being advertised on a super-gigantic poster to the right of the entrance. Of course, it was just a giant question mark with the words "Mystery~ PRODUCT! BUY TODAY!", but anyways..
When they entered, it was crowded, so they had to squeeze through to the counter to order.
"So, I'm guessing you want to buy our newest parfait?" a very happy/giddy looking teenager looked at them.
"Yes," Nagihiko said to the waitress.
"Okie dokie!" she reached behind the counter and attempted to make a drum roll sound. "Dun dun dun dun~ Say hello to...Parfait on a Cone!"
The waitress held out two very wide cones with what looked like parfaits on them. Rima looked at her like, "WTH is this?"
"She said 'parfait on a cone', Rima-chan." Nagihiko told her.
"I know. Just, let's go." she grabbed the cone rudely and walked to tables that were apparently outside the shop. Nagihiko followed her.
There were no people there; just them. Rima sat down and looked at her parfait cone thing-y. "What kind of idea is this?"
Nagihiko just shrugged and took a bite. "Hm, it's actually good. Try it."
'Munch' Rima looked at Nagihiko with wide eyes. "Well, it's not as bad as I thought Nagihiko." So they kept on eating the parfait, all the way down to the cone.
Suddenly, Rima giggled. Nagihiko looked at her and asked, "Um...what?"
"You have parfait on your face, Nagihiko." she smiled.
"Oh, okay." he made for the napkin, but Rima beat him to it.
"I'll get it."
Nagihiko scrunched his eyebrows. Why was Rima doing this? Usually she wouldn't even care.
Rima leaned closer, and closer, holding the napkin in her hand, until she was about two inches away from his face.
"Rima, where exactly is the spot with the parfait?" he pointed at his face.
"Oh, it's right there."
Then she placed her lips on his.
After a few seconds, she broke away, smiling widely.
Nagihiko snapped out of his shock and then grinned.
"You know, I think you have some parfait on your face too."
