"Well, that was a surprise!" JD exclaimed, coming into the house from the back yard where he'd been playing with Casey.
"What was, little breeches?" Buck asked from where he and Chris were finishing washing dishes.
JD grabbed two bottles of water from the refrigerator and hurried back to the door. "Casey just showed me the difference between a girl and a boy!" he explained.
Buck dropped the plate he had been drying. Even as it smashed into pieces on the floor, he and Chris bellowed, "WHAT?", but the only answer they received was the slamming of the back door.
