All right. Sorry it took me a while to update, but I wasn't sure how ... sorry. :) But now we're up and running again, so here we are: Chapter ... TWO! This is where the Teen part kicks in. Or at least, starts to.

DISCLAIMER: Well, for NOW I don't own Fear Street. This story barely has anything to DO with Fear Street! :) It's just like all the other books in the series, where certain locations make cameos and someone lives on Fear Street, but you barely ever see the same character twice. Well, I am using the term Fear Street later on, so I guess I still need this. So no, I don't. BUT, I am devising a master plan to gain copyright. Here's a hint: It involves rope, a tiger, and a flashlight. Wish me luck! :)

Wow. That was a long disclaimer. REVIEW PLEASE! :)

TWO

We finally caught up with the others. "Did you ride the Loop-dee-Puke?" asked Donna. "It was amazing!"

Ryan put his arm around her, grinning. "That's my girl," he said. Donna rested her head on his shoulders. "You just go up, then back, then up, then back, until you FINALLY make it over the top," he reported. "Then you just go around and around, faster and faster! It was AWESOME!"

Donna giggled.

"That's nothing," said Jake gleefully, resting his arm on Pam's shoulders. "You should've gone in the Hall of Mirrors. Getting in's the easy part" –

"It's getting OUT that's tricky!" Pam finished the attraction's famous saying.

"Plus, we found this secret room, where you have to slide and shake one of the mirrors to get in," Jake told us. Leaning to whisper in my ear, he said, "There was no one else in there, and it was a small room. When I closed the door behind me, it got pitch black. Do you see where I'm going with this ..."

I was still partially in shock. Forget seeing where he was headed, I'm surprised I could even see him!

They're so carefree, I thought. How can they be so cheery, like nothing will ever go wrong again?

They're having fun! I scolded myself. This is one of the best events of the year, and you're ruining it! So a couple pieces of wood floated in midair. There was probably a string. Yeah, that's it. They were probably hanging from a wire, and they were put there by some prankster. Maybe it was part of the show!

"What did you do, Danny?" Ryan asked me, jerking me out of my thoughts.

Nancy and I glanced at each other. Nancy shook her head.

"We rode the Gravatroid, saw some freak hypnotist guy," I told him. "You know, regular stuff."

Ryan's eyebrows went up. He nodded, grinning. "Uh, huh. I get it," he said, playfully punching me on the arm.

"Let's go get ice cream!" shouted Nancy, changing the subject.

We all agreed, and we were on our way. I pushed the dark thoughts out of my mind. It was an act, I decided. Nothing to worry about.

By the time it got dark, we were stuffed, broke, and tired. Not to mention wet and in our bathing suits, seeing as how we had ridden the water rides they have there. Jake and Pam had to use the restrooms (we all told them not to share that last Coke), and we were waiting around for them. After a minute or two Jake returned. All we needed was Pam.

Jake was talking to me about how hot Pam looked in her bikini (love-sick idiot) when we heard the scream.

Jake stood instantly. "Pam?" he called.

Another cry, this one sounding more painful.

"PAM!" Jake ran towards the restrooms. The four of us followed him.

We saw the door open.

We saw Pam stagger out.

We saw the blood gushing from her side.

She took a step or two forward and collapsed in the grass.

"PAM!" Jake ran to her and knelt by her side. The blood was surging from a giant cut that went from her shoulder blade down to her hip.

Working quickly, Jake took off his T-shirt and pressed it against Pam's cut. The blood was coming out fast, and within ten seconds the shirt was totally red.

"I can't stop the bleeding!" he shouted. "Someone call 911!"

"I'll do it!" Nancy exclaimed, taking out her cell phone. She ran off to make the call.

"Dan, hand me your shirt!" Jake screamed.

I gave it to him. He continued applying pressure. But it was just bleeding too much.

Pam was losing a lot of blood. She was surrounded by a circle of red. And Jake still couldn't stop it.

YOUR TIME'S RUN OUT.

The words suddenly flashed into my mind.

Nancy returned. "They're on their way!" she reported. "How's Pam?"

"Not good," Jake told her, desperately trying to save her.

"How could this have happened?" asked Ryan.

"Let me go check the bathroom," said Donna. She ran into the girl's restroom.

"No ... no ... no ..." Jake was panicking. Nancy looked cold and worried. I'm sure I did, too.

Suddenly the night seemed a lot colder.

I reached to put my arm around her for warmth, even though I knew it wasn't the breeze that was chilling me, but she grabbed me and wrapped me in a warm hug. She leaned her head on my shoulder and started to cry. I rubbed my right hand on her back, shushing her. "It's okay. Everything will be all right. Pam will be okay. I know it."

"I did it!" Jake shouted suddenly. "The bleeding seems to have stopped."

Pam wasn't stirring.

Jake rolled her onto her back, angled her head, and gently pressed his lips against her mouth, blowing air into her unbreathing lungs. As he worked, I knelt by her cut, making sure it didn't start bleeding again. It wasn't a pretty sight.

I heard rapid footsteps. I looked and saw Donna running towards us. She looked like she would be sick.

Nancy stepped forward and hugged her. "What's wrong?" she asked.

Pulling back, Donna covered her face with her hands. "It's too awful," she exclaimed through tears. "Just too awful."

"What? What is it?" Jake all but screamed between breaths.

Donna kept crying.

"PLEASE? PLEASE TELL US WHAT'S WRONG!" Jake shouted.

"THERE'S A KNIFE!"

For a second the world fell silent. So silent it was eerie.

Ryan was the one to break it. "A knife?" he asked, startled.

Tears streaming down her face, Donna nodded. "There's a knife splattered with blood in the bathroom." She fell to her knees and sobbed.

So many tears. So many tears.

So much blood.

I could now faintly hear a siren in the distance. The ambulance was coming. Finally.

Della was still on her knees crying. Nancy was kneeling next to her, trying to provide comfort, shedding her own tears while she did. Pam was still unconscious. Jake had stopped performing mouth to mouth, looking dizzy, like now he was out of air – maybe he was. Ryan was currently searching for a pulse on Pam. And I felt like I was going to faint.

"I found it!" Ryan exclaimed. "I found a pulse! She's alive!"

We all breathed a sigh of relief. With renewed strength, Jake went back to work. Donna had stopped weeping, and was now sitting on the ground.

The sirens were getting louder. I could now see the truck coming.

It's about time, I thought.

YOUR TIME'S RUN OUT.

That's when the true horror sank in.

The clock stopped ticking, I realized. And now Pam's ... now THIS has happened.

"Oh, NO!" Ryan screamed, capturing all of our attentions. "The cut's opened back up!"

No! This is AWFUL! I cried silently.

Wait. Why did it open back up? Did Jake accidentally do something?

And who could've DONE something this TERRIBLE? Who used that knife?

Jake was turning blue. Donna was crying again. Ryan took his shirt off to try and stop the blood.

The siren was getting much louder. I turned to see the ambulance pulling onto the lawn to park as close as they could without running over any attractions. A couple people got out and ran towards us.

And THAT'S when I finally blacked out.
