"They say the luck I've had can make a good man turn bad." - The smiths [Please, please, let me get what I want.]
You take it because you can, and because you probably deserve it. The fluttering that increases deep within the very puncture of your being is gradually rising, slowing eating you up into a distressed wreck.
You've lost control, your bodies accepting it, the pain's clouding every emotion, intoxicating your knowledge till it's slowing fading away.
You try desperately to hold onto it, hold onto what you know, what you memorised. That memory you replay so often, you've worn it down, chipped it, pleading trying to remember it. It's an echo and you can't seem to extract why it made you happy. But you need it back, it has to come back. And your fighting with yourself, reasoning with yourself. You can almost see it, you just need to try. Your begging yourself to try. Your body is giving out, giving up, while you mind is racing to hold on.
It's a hazy state, an echo of what once was. But again it's fading, it's disappearing. Your last wish is abandoning you. And it's killing you.
The weaker your getting the more vivid it becomes. And you want the hurt, you want the pain, you want the sting. You want it so much, that you're giving in. The desire for the memory burns, the yearning shooting throughout your declining body, the only emotion you can clutch, you can desire. So you welcome it.
You look up slightly, capturing the silhouette. The twisted look of pain and betrayal visible. You strive to reach out, to touch one last time, to be there. Instead you close your heavy eyes, sinking into the blank ink.
And you see it. You see it so deliciously clear that you feel you've travelled back in time. It's all so sharp and intense, filled with glowing passion that you can't forget. And you don't dare want to.
She's melted into you, her legs wrapped effortlessly around your waist and arms embraced your neck. You're holding her up against a wall. And she's smiling into you mouth, while a soft, broken sound leaks from your lips. You both show each other love.
You slip away into the unknown and secretive memories you and her promised to keep safe. You die reliving every moment. And you'll keep reliving every moment until she's right there beside you. Like she always has been. You die happy.
