Molly Weasley suddenly noticed that she was no longer where she had been.

She had been finally been found out by the Ministry in her role as a member of the Underground Railroad.

When Harry Potter had first been convicted, she - to her own consternation - had listened to Albus Dumbledore and taken his assurance that the boy was guilty. It had destroyed many plans she had for the boy.

None of her plans were malicious: She just wanted to see her daughter happy. She had even contemplated, at one point, slipping him a potion or two, but couldn't do it for the simple fact that she knew, in the end, it had to be his choice. It didn't stop her from manipulating things for him to spend the maximum time under her roof.

When he had been convicted, she had been very close to hating him. She remembered the feeling of betrayal as he tried to speak in his defense, as though it could be defended. She had turned away from him. She had been - for a moment - tempted in adding to the abuse heaped on him as so many did, but her heart still felt too much love for the boy for her to do that. So she did as she had to and turned away.

She had lived with this hidden in her heart, trusting in the words of the Headmaster. Trusting that he would not allow an innocent boy being sent to Azkaban.

When the truth was revealed, her heart had broken completely.

She went through the motions of her life. She was a Blood Traitor, to be sure, but she was a Pureblood who had birthed seven other Purebloods. Mostly she was ignored. But finally, the sight of her youngest son abusing Muggleborn girls had pushed her over the edge. She could never tell the truth of why and so accused him of sloth and gluttony (which were also true, more to her shame) and refused to allow him to return to the Burrow.

When Bill had asked to help hide a few Muggleborn that were being smuggled out, she had leapt at the chance. She acted as mother and comforter for those who had suffered. Soon, her home was one regular step on the road for those that could be saved.

Arthur had been carefully blind to her activities as he too was looked at with suspicion.

Ginny had went on to give birth to two children under the mandated Pureblood Breeding Program and then quickly left them with their fathers and had played quidditch. She used her fame to subtly fight against the system without doing enough to make her a target. Ron's corruption had actually helped convince those in power that the youngest Weasleys were on board with their plans.

She did what she could.

But finally, the Secret Snatchers (SS) had somehow tracked her down as a member of the Railroad. Given a choice between betraying her son and husband or taking the entire blame, Molly had looked desperate even as she exulted inside that those fools bought her story.

She could have been given to the Dementors as a Mudblood Collaborator, but had taken her hidden second wand and tried to "escape" - she knew better. Her only escape was Death. And she accepted it.

And now she found herself in front of a tall gate. A desk was there and a man stood to greet her kindly even as he offered her a chance to look in his book.

ISAIAH 66:14 - AS ONE WHOM HIS MOTHER COMFORTS, SO I WILL COMFORT YOU.

Molly had tears in her eyes as she walked to the gate. She cried as she met her brothers, long missed in her arms. One small visit did much to clean her soul of remaining grief.

She saw the man standing off to the side, watching her reunion with a small smile. She immediately broke off and went to him. "Harry, dear. I am so sorry for listening to that old fool and not ..." She was interrupted by the tall man taking her in his arms and giving her an embrace, her tears now pulling the grief out of her.

Quietly, in her ear, he whispered, "I forgave you long ago ... Mum Weasley."

A/N: Working on some older things, while pausing from current work. Trying to make good on old promises. Molly was hard: Good or Evil? How would she actually react? I was feeling generous today. I can't imagine a reward more desired by a Good Molly than to act as a mother for eternity.
