Chapter 1
Brock walked through the doors of the Hart house calling out for anyone who was there. Reba had wanted to talk to him about Kyra's college fund but she wasn't here. He walked through the kitchen and opened the fridge and got a bottle of water. Reba hated it when he did this but since she wasn't hear right now. He took a long swig from the water and he turned only for something to catch his eye on the table. He thought it was a book at first glance but when he looked to the page it was open to he realized it was Reba's diary. He walked away thinking he really shouldn't read her diary but his devil side got a hold of him and he sat down, setting aside the pen that was set on top and he began to read the page it was open to.
As he began to read his mouth dropped. It seemed it was a song she had written.

Brock was shocked, it was really good but what shocked him even more was what she had written below it.
I meant every word of that song too. I still love him but I'm not allowed. He has someone else right now. It hurts a lot. He has put me through so much and has caused me so much pain but…I still love Brock.
He sat there staring at the page for the longest time. Maybe he shouldn't have read it but Reba still loved him. It gave him hope. He heard a gasp from the back door and he turned to see Reba standing in the doorway, she looked angry.
Brock stood up and walked over to her. Her nostrils flared as he approached and she had raised her hand ready to smack him for reading it. He blocked it by grabbing her hand and pulling her towards him. She stumbled forward and Brock brought her into a kiss.
