2. Rain
April showers bring May flowers, Luna's mind supplies. She's standing at the bay window of her and Draco's home. It's not quite a manor, nor is it a tower-type house like the one she grew up in. It's comfortable and spacious, just right for starting their life together.
A small pop interrupts her thoughts. "Luna, I'm home!" Draco calls from their front hall where the cloak closet is. He enters the living room to see his wife absorbed in the rainy scene outdoors. He walks up behind her, sliding his arms around her waist. "Wrackspurt got you?" He smiles.
She laughs softly. "They must have," she turns around without breaking his hold on her, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling his face to hers in a welcoming kiss. "How was work?"
He smiles as she lays her head on his chest. "Slow, considering the weather. I guess no one wants to come shopping during the spring rains, let alone buy Quidditch supplies."
They both laugh and hug each other before letting go. They continue to discuss their day over dinner and are snuggling on the couch after desert. After a short while, Luna lifts her head from its resting place on her husband's chest. There's a rumble of thunder overhead. "You know something?"
"Hmm?" Draco asks, messing with a few tendrils of her hair.
"I can think of several ways to spend a stormy evening, all involving you." She raises herself up to kiss him passionately on the lips.
"Is that so?" Her husband says, eyes intent on his wife.
Her response is non-verbal but altogether reassuring. Neither of them notices the storm that is raging outside for quite some time.
