Lt. Commander Steele was busy at work filing some evidence away.

"Crud! These have been a tough few days," the orange cat thought to himself.
"I've been beaten up by Feral, had a radio fall on my head, and Felina punched
me in the nose. Well, at least things can't get worse,"

Later that day, Steele got a package delivered to him.

"Huh? Who's it from?" Steele asked the mail Kat.

"Doesn't say," the mail Kat said, shrugging his shoulder, "just says. 'Get
well soon'."

"Aww someone does care about me," Steele said, accepting the package. The
mail Kat left and Steele hurriedly opened the package. He couldn't wait to see
what someone had sent him. When he opened the flaps of the box, a
spring-loaded pumpkin pie with whipped cream, leaped from the interior toward
his face.

"SPLAT!"

Steele sat there in shock, pie dripping from his face. When his reaction set
in, he screamed in fury. It was so loud, he probably had been heard all the
way to city hall.

Meanwhile at City hall...

Callie Briggs cocked her ears and stared out the window as she stood near the
Mayor's desk. "Mayor Manx, did you just hear something?"

"Ahh, no I didn't Callie!" Manx said, shaking his head, his mind on hitting a
golf ball into a glass cup.

Just below the enforcer building, sitting in their tow truck which was parked
in the lot across from the main entrance, a pair of familiar mechanics grinned
at the sudden scream they heard from above.

"Now that's classic," Chance said, laughing, as he stared at the pie covered
Steele through his high powered binoculars

"You know it," Jake chuckled.
