"ARGH!" Coady's loud, angry voice came over the mic. "CHEAP!"

"C'mon, Coady!" I said. "That was my first win in over an hour!"

"IT WAS STILL CHEAP!" yelled Coady. "ONE MORE HIT AND I WOULD'VE KILLED YOU!"

My friend, Coady, and I were playing Soul Calibur IV on X-Box LIVE. In which I was getting my the crap thoroughly beat out of me. I had finally succeeded in getting a 'Ring Out!' on him.

"What the heck is that?" Coady asked, almost to himself. "OH, MY G––"

"Coady!" I asked. "COADY, ARE YOU THERE?"

A beeping sound coming from the TV informed me that Coady had in fact been disconnected from LIVE. Panicking, I pulled my cellphone out and called him. I heard his phone ring.

"C'mon, Coady!" I whispered. "Pick up!"

One ring... Two rings... Nothing. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a light in the otherwise dark dining room. Putting down the phone and controller, I got up and went into the room. Suddenly, I felt a thud on the back of my head. Then my whole world faded to black.

A load roaring woke me up. I opened my eyes to find myself strapped to a chair-type-thing. I looked around for about ten minutes before realizing a number of things:

1) I am in a drop pod.

2) This drop pod is falling out of the sky

3) I have no idea where I am

4) I could die
