"Arrruuuu…." The Chinese man tiptoed, stretched, reached, but try as he could, he just couldn't get it. He frowned and crossed his arms, pouting. "Damnit, aru…" he sighed, "I'm just too short." Of course, the thing he wanted had to be on the tallest shelf, it just had to be. It was just Wang Yao's luck. He chewed on his bottom lip, thinking…and then, a smile appeared. "Vaaaannyyyaaaaa!" he called.
In an instant, the Russian man appeared. "Da, Jao?" he asked, curiosity glinting in his violet eyes. "Vanya, I can't reach it…" Yao pouted and blushed softly, "But…can you, aru?" A smile pushed its way onto the taller man's lips. "Da." Ivan reached up and grabbed the item in question—a rare, limited-edition Shinatty doll. The smile grew as he handed it over to the excited-looking Chinese man. "Thank you, Vanya~!" Yao giggled and tiptoed, kissing his cheek. The Russian smiled fondly at him and blushed softly. "Anything for my Yao~" he replied as the two left the store.
Violet eyes stared unblinkingly into the fireplace, big, slender hands running through soft onyx hair. Ivan sat with Yao in his lap as a storm raged outside, powdery and terribly beautiful. "Ivan…" Yao whispered and clung onto the taller man, staring outside and cringing. "I'm…s-scared, aru." He gulped and Ivan increased his grip. "There is nothing to be afraid of, Yao." He murmured and kissed the top of his boyfriend's head. "Ivan is here to protect you, Da?" Yao relaxed a little. "Yeah…" he murmured and leaned back in the Russian's arms, relaxing. "I know you'll do a good job of protecting me, Vanya. I trust you completely, aru." That made Ivan smile. "Good~" he leaned down and tipped Yao's face up gently, placing a soft, loving kiss on his pink lips. Yao flushed light crimson and smiled, snuggling into him. Ivan held him and listened to his breathing slow, until at last, the Chinese man fell asleep in his arms.
Ivan stood in front of the oven, watching and waiting for his cookies to be done. Well, they really weren't his. They were for Yao…He shrugged, smiling softly. "I hope he'll like them~" He paced; the man in question would be home soon. Ivan hoped that he wouldn't mind that he was in his kitchen. The Russian checked on the cookies again—perfect. He smiled and took them out, just as Yao arrived home. "YaoYao~!" Ivan called and he heard the man pause. "…Ivan? What are you doing in my house-?" he called back, a little fearfully. "I made you cookies, Yao~!" Ivan smiled and went out to find him. Yao stood in the doorway, taking off his shoes. "…In my kitchen, aru?" Ivan nodded. "Da." Yao shook his head. "You're weird, aru…but…cookies?" Ivan nodded. "Da! Come." He walked into the kitchen, Yao following behind. Despite himself, Yao's stomach growled, they looked good, and he hadn't really eaten.
Ivan picked one off the tray and smiled at the other male. "Say aah, Yao." Yao blushed and opened up his mouth. "Ahh." The Russian popped it into his mouth with a smile. "Is it good?"
Yao chewed and nodded, quickly reaching for another one. Ivan smiled. "Good~" he watched the other eat for a little while, until he was satisfied. Yao gave the Russian a sweet smile. "Thank you Vanya." He giggled and turned away. Ivan grabbed his wrist and turned him around, licking his lips. "….Sweet." He nodded as the other male blushed darker. "But not as sweet as you." Yao smiled. "…Oh Ivan." He giggled and hugged the Russian, snuggling into his chest. "You're so good to me, aru~" Ivan tilted his head back up and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. "I try to be~" he whispered and smiled softly, sweetly. Yao blushed some more, and the two proceeded to cuddle.
