This is a poem/song that I wrote that goes along with a Hermione/Ron relationship. The first part of this story is the background and the second part will be the poem. I hope you enjoy!

It had been a very long day of work for Hermione Granger and she had just returned home to the flat she shared with her fiance, Ron Weasley. When she walked in the door she dropped her purse and keys on the table and continued towards the bedroom, where she planned on getting out of her work clothes and into something more comfortable. As she turned the corner into the room she saw Ron making out with and entangled with someone on their bed. The curly blonde hair was a tell tale sign of who this person was and Hermione immediatley knew that Ron was cheating with Lavendar Brown.

When Hermione over came her shock she cleared her throat and Ron immediatley threw himself off of Lavendar and turned to face his fiance. Immediately his face became sickly pale and he knew that he had been caught. Without saying a word Hermione walked up and pulled Lavendar off the bed and pushed her out the door. When she was gone Ron started to say, "It's not what it looks like." Hermione was not going to sit there and listen to his pointless excuses. She had had enough. Before she turned and left the flat she took off her engagement ring and hurled it at Ron, hitting him square in the chest.

She then apparated to her parents house and sitting on the couch allowed herself to break down and lose it all.

-beginning of the poem-

You say you care,

Then you turn around and tear me down.

Things were almost perfect,

But I guess the fight wasn't worth it.

You say I'm wrong,

But I am going to stand strong.

You have no problem letting me fall,

If it will make you feel better at all.

You don't care how much it hurts me,

After all these years you don't care what that does to me.

You are willing to throw everything away,

No matter what that gets you at the end of the day.

So you'll just sit there and play the victim,

Like you always do.

Just because you're not happy,

That doesn't mean you can take it out on me.

The world isn't always out to get you,

Like you always seem to think.

You have no problem letting me fall,

If it will make you feel better at all.

You don't care how much it hurts me,

After all these years you don't care what that does to me.

You are willing to throw everything away,

No matter what that gets you at the end of the day.

You will never see,

That it's not always my fault,

It's not always me.

So now it's time for me to stand up and say,

I won't let you put me down,

Or let you push me around.

You have no problem letting me fall,

If it will make you feel better at all.

You don't care how much it hurts me,

After all these years you don't care what that does to me.

You are willing to throw everything away,

No matter what that gets you at the end of the day.

Now I finally see,

That you don't care about me.

So I'll just turn around and leave,

Because I know you will always blame me.

Thanks for reading. I hope you liked it and please let me know what you think. Thanks!
