DISCLAIMER: I don't own Star Trek

Sorry if this makes you cry, I kinda did while I was writing it! *Sniffle*

Spock's Heart

No one knows just how I feel for they assume I don't.

They have never seen me smile for they assume I won't.

No one knows how hard it is to keep a stoic expression.

They don't think it's possible for me to feel depression.

Sometimes I think logic is a tighter trap than hate,

Why must I be Vulcan? Is it life, or is it fate?

As a child on my planet, everyone ignored me,

But on earth I have discovered humans all adored me.

It might just be my pointy ears, or my rationality,

But I'll bet, that most I've met, like my personality.

This is something I haven't experienced before,

A human girl makes my life not lonely anymore.

But all the things for her I feel I always have to hide,

Because my Vulcan reputation, or my Vulcan pride.

Frequently I ponder what it is that she would say,

If I dropped my mask for her only for a day.

Her light shines just like a sun and under my heart cowers,

"Does she love me?" I ask aloud; picking pedals of white flowers.

*WAAAAAAAAAAA!*
