"So… that was a crazy reception," Rikku said, combing her hair out in the mirror. Gippal nodded, not looking up from his book. "Do you have a headache or anything?" she asked, pushing the conversation along.

"Not really," he answered. Yesterday had been Yuna and Tidus's wedding, with a beach party for the reception afterwards. She had never seen Yuna so happy, not even when she saw Tidus floating off the coast of Besaid. Rikku sat down in a comfy chair across from Gippal and picked up a machina magazine, looking to see what was new. Even though she pretty much knew about everything, she needed to keep busy somehow.

"Yuna asked me yesterday when I was going to get married," Rikku continued, flipping through the pages as if she were reading them.

"What did you tell her?" Gippal asked in a blasé way.

"I just told her I didn't know," she said.

"Good," Gippal said, nodding his head slowly.

"What would you have said?" she asked. Gippal shrugged.

"Prob'ly the same thing," he answered. He turned the page in his book slowly. Rikku ran her tongue over her teeth and tried to think of something to say.

"Want something to eat?" she asked.

"Nah, not right now," he said. She stood up anyway and got herself a bottle of water from the refrigerator. She turned back to him while she downed half the bottle, then sat back down in her comfortable armchair. He hadn't glanced up from his reading material during the entire conversation. Gippal was to be left alone during his morning reading.

"That's okay though, right?" Rikku asked.

"What, that I'm not hungry?" Gippal asked with a grin on his face.

"No…" she answered. "That we're not going to get married," she finished.

"Oh," he said. He shrugged again. "I guess so."

"Yeah, we're not really the marrying type," she agreed.

"Yep," he answered. They both sat there, flipping through their magazine and book, respectively.

"So, you want to get married?" he asked.

"Sure. When?" she answered.

"How's next weekend sound?"

"Sounds good to me."
