Title: You´re Not Alone

Hi this my first Criminal Mind fic in English

I wasn't sure to posted but I found a great beta BIG THANKS TO KM for being my beta

This is set a year after 100

"Nobody tell us what to do when our soul and heart gets broken

When you loose a part of you that you never thought you would

You go deaf and blind and you loose your tact because the body needs time to recover

So in order to survive close your eyes and then opened them again and focus

You´ll be able to hear, to see and to feel the love surrounding you,

With it you´ll be able to fight the shadows,

You´ll be stronger, you´ll be better

And even if life isn´t the same as it used to be

You would keep fighting

Because you would understand

That even in fiercest darkest

You´re not alone..."

Aaron Hotchner was reading her letter again.

After Haley's death the words had stuck with him. He had never shown them to anyone she had written this for him but he had held on to those words for life.

And now here he was watching her, she was laughing with his son, Jack love her and every time his son knew that he was going to see her his face light up, she brought them joy and peace.

She had never left him -even in his darkest hours when he wasn't sure of himself, she was there. She had broken through every barrier he had erected and brought him back from the precipice to prove she was more than just his friend -she was his confident, his energy…his peace. She had helped him to mend his heart, and she had earned a piece of it without trying.

He loved her. More than he ever thought possible.

He couldn't keep his eyes away from her -from them. Jack was so happy his eyes were glowing, and that was one of the best gifts she could have given him. From the distance they saw him watching them.

"Daddy, come on play," Jack pleads, His hands clutching the big red rubber ball.

"Jack I'm busy." And he was; he busy looking at them.

"Please." Jack repeats his plea with just a hint of whine in his tone.

And she looks at him with her eyes full of mischief and laughter and tells him:

"Yeah Daddy, please, play"

There was nothing he could do other than join his son and his wife -his very pregnant wife. Seeing her full of life and playing with his son made realise Aaron Hotchner that the words she had written him were true: "I´m not alone."

Yeah, Emily Prentiss-Hotchner was a wise woman and he was a lucky guy.
