Classes were about to start back up at dual Academy and the freshman duels were about to begin. This year they were going to be extra crazy, for there was a thirteen year old girl among the freshman. She was competing even though she already had a place slither red dorm. She wanted to see if she could get into the school on talent and not her connections. When her class ranking number was called for the dual no one stepped up so they moved on to the next student.

"Come on nii-chan we are late. They are not going to let me test if it takes us any longer" a thirteen year old girl yelled. The girl had long light brown hair that was pulled back in a long braid the just brushed her lower back. She was wearing a black shirt and warn out blue jeans.

"Well it is not my fault that we are late, you were the one that did not want to get out of bed." a seventeen year old boy yelled back. The boys was already in a red uniform with his brown hair stopping at his shoulders having grown out over the summer.

"Well if you had woke me up sooner it wouldn't had been a problem." She said coming to a stop in front of the doors the the testers had to enter

"Well here we are. Bye Nii-Chan, I will see you once my dual is over" she walked up to the table to sign herself in.

"Okay Bye Natsumi. I wish you luck in your dual. Kick some but." The boy said waving the young girl off as she entered the doors. He turned and walked through the second set of doors the went to the stands to meet his friends and watch the girls dual.

"Hey Jay. Did you hear there is a little girl starting this year? Isn't that crazy she must be like a prodigy or something." Said a boy in a raw yellow uniform with eyes that almost looked like cat eyes.

"Ya I did Hassleberry and in case you didn't know her name is Natsumi" Jaden said snapping the last part out

"Okay okay, I get it what's eating you know her or some-" Hassleberry said but didn't finish as he was interrupted be the intercom.

"Okay today we have a treat for all of you. We are out of people to dual, so we are going to let our last person chose who she want to duel everyone this is Natsumi. She will be the youngest student to ever attend duel academy " Sheppard said as a young girl walked out standing next to him

"Hello everyone. I'm Natsumi. I have a really close friend that goes here, but I really don't want to duel him because our decks are to even in power. So, I want to the person that he dueled when he was out here. I hope you don't mind if I you arr not the only one to beat a teacher here Jaden, but I really want to duel Crowler like you did." She bowed to the people in the stands and moved to her side of the field as Crowler stepped out

"How do you know her Jaden" Hassleberry yelled. Staring a Jaden with wide eyes.

"Man I can't know someone. She lives very close to me," Jaden said looking back down at the duel taking place.

~thirty minutes into the dual~

"Well Jaden it looks like your friend is not going to win. With only 300 life points she is not going to last much longer" said a boy with dark hair. He watched the dual closely

"Don't count her out yet Bastion. She will win just watch. She can even give me a run for my money. Hell she has even beat me. 'Sumi has a plan, I just know it" Jaden said earning glances from all of his friends.

"There is no way she is that good Jay."Syrus said looking up from the dual

"No Sy. She is that good.I should know" Jaden said. He looked down at the dual just as Crowler's live points hit 0.

"Yay! see I told you I would win Nii-chan." Natsumi said looking up with her brown eyes at everyone in the stands. The intercom came on again

"Thank you for that wonderful duel. You may go meet up with your brother now " Sheppard said ending the duels for the day. He walked over to Natsumi.

"Sorry but you will be sharing a room with your brother. We just dont have the room for you to be with the other students.

"That is fine Sir. Nii-chan told me that it was the only way he could get me to be able stay. He also that he would kill any boy if they say anything mean or perverted to me, so it will be fine" she told him.

"Okay then here is the key to the room. Tell your brother I want to talk to him later about some matters."Sheppard said turning to leave.

"I will tell him as soon as we get to the island Sir. Good bye, see you soon" she said walking off to find her brother.

~up in the stands~

"We should go try and meet her. I want to get to know a girl who is that strong" Hassleberry said looking at his friends

"Umm Hassleberry, I don't think that is a good idea. I think half of the guys are going to see her. That and I think Jay-" Syrus was saying but Jaden interrupted him.

"Ya thats true. Well I will see you guys later. I have to go meet up with someone before we leave. Bye guys see you on the boat" Jaden said turning and running for the exit of the gym.

"What was that about? I dont think I have seen him ever go anywhere that fast" Hassleberry said watching Jaden leave.

"I don't know, but im going to fine out" Bastian said and they all went after Jaden. When they got outside they didn't see Jaden but they saw a group of guys standing around Natsumi. She looked about ready to cry.

"So you think you are a such a good duelist. Why don't you duel one of us and prove that it wasn't just luck that you beat Crowler" one of the boys said. Natsumi looked around seeing all the guys in the group moving closer. She started crying

"Nii-chan!" she cried out. Tears were running from her brown eyes. She fall to her knees. "Help me. These guys are being mean and they wont leave me alone."

"Are they now. What should I do? I could hang them by their feet from the cliff when we get to the academy" came a very dark voice behind the groups. They

all turn quick to see Jaden standing there. There was a dark aura around him./span"Or we could let them go this once. If they come near you again I will not hesitate about killing them." All the boys in the group around Natsumi nodded their heads and ran away.

"Wow! that was funner then I thought it would have been." Natsumi said looking over to her brother wiping the tears from her eyes laughing. "Do they really think I would be that much of a crybaby with a family like ours."

"Ya. I dont think I have that much fun in a long time" Jaden said then looking at his little sisters knee "Did you have to fall to the ground. look at your knee it is bleeding now" Jaden sat his backpack down and sat on the ground. Jaden reached into his bag pulling out a water bottle and a cloth from his bag and cleaned up her knee.

"Well who would have thought you had a little sister" a voice said behind Jaden. Jaden turned his head a bit seeing Hassleberry, Syrus, Alexis, Baston and Chazz.

"Ya, I do. Didn't know it was a big deal" Jaden turned back to what he was doing.

"Hello again Natsumi" Syrus said earning looks from everyone.

"Wait you know her" The group said at the same time. They watched Syrus closely.

"Ya Jaden saved me over the summer and I stayed with him and his family for a week." Syrus said looking at the ground rubbing the back of his head.

"Well we need to go or we will miss the boat to the island, come on 'Sumi" Jaden grabbed Natsumi's hand and ran off to the docks.

AN: Well sorry to those who tried to read this already I Have no idea what happened there. Well here it is. I am slowly working on chapters. They are really helping my schooling. It is slowly helping me get better and better. well see you next time and please tell me what you think.
