The thoughts running through his mind were not even vaguley work related. They were focused on the one and only most important thing in his life. Her. Her hair. Her eyes. Her laugh. Her smile. Her accent. He wanted it all. He thought that the thoughts that possessed him were unknown to all but the two. But everyone realy knew about it. The looks across the bullpen. The papers tossed back and forth. Not just teasing, but more like questioning. Whether she felt the same. Whether his feelings were okay. There was a text every now and then. But mostly it was a glance, or a joke, or a question alone in interigation. Sometimes it was even a smile.

She would look into his eyes.

He would look into her eyes.

They would smile.

The thoughts running through her mind had no relation to the paperwork sitting on her desk. She was entirely absorbed in more intimate thoughts about her love. His constant antics. His goffing smile. His tempered laugh. It was always hers for the taking. She knew enough to realize that her thoughts did not go unnoticed by the rest of the team. He may have thought they did, but they didn't. Not that either of them cared. They were to obliviously happy. Their relationship was no more than a glance, or a smile, or a quote, or a joke. But it was all that they needed. It was enough. There were questions spoken out loud, during time alone. The questions were never different, the answers always the same.

He would look into her eyes.

She would look onto his eyes.

They would smile.

The poem that was hanging on their mirrors, in their bathrooms, sitting in their desks was the same.

When she looks into my eyes,

When we say our goodbyes,

I will be forever,

The love letter sender.

When he looks at me,

I could steal the sea,

I would push and shove,

If only for his love.
