Juliet was running around Cross Academy looking for Zero. It's been a few weeks since she'd last seen him. In fact the last time she saw him is the same time she found out his secret. Juliet knew that there
was something special about Zero, she just never expected him to be well.. That special. She glanced at her watch and thought, "Zero.. Where could you be at this time? It's already 11:26pm, it's passed the Day Class' curfew but.. I don't care.."
She stopped and sat down on a nearby bench, she was panting frantically considering that she's been running around for well over two hours. Juliet pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged them then closed her eyes, after a few minutes she felt a rain drop brush against her hand. "Rain." thought Juliet immediately with wide eyes, "Rain and.. I'm alone.." she tightened her grip on her knees
The rain was light but she could feel it getting heavier slowly. She hated situations like this, she didn't know where to go and frankly, she was too scared to move.
Zero was walking around with his hands in his pockets thinking about what happened those few weeks ago. "She probably hates me now.." he thought, "She's probably afraid of me.. I can't.. I can't show my face to her again.."
He was too deep in his thoughts to realize that it was raining. Lighting light up the night sky, therefore alerting him that it was beginning to pour more and more. Zero said quietly to himself, "Rain.. Juliet.. I hope she's okay.."
he sighed and ran his fingers through his wet hair then looked around. Another flash of lighting passed, this time Zero saw something on a bench. He walked up to the figure on the bench, "Hey, it's passed curfew you shouldn't -" He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw it was Juliet, alone in the rain. "Juliet.." he said quietly.
Juliet was sitting still on the bench. Petrified with fear. Zero began to quietly walk up to her. He reached out his hand to touch her but then he stopped and began to retract it thinking, "I'm probably the last
person she wants to see in the rain.." Juliet felt a nearby presence and looked up slowly. Her already wide eyes seemed to get even wider, if it was even possible, when she saw Zero. "Z-Zero.." she said to herself.
Zero pulled his hand to himself and said, "Juliet.. I.." he sighed and turned to walk away.
Juliet, not caring about the rain for the moment, launched herself off the bench and hugged his waist and said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear, "Zero.. I've been looking for you.. Don't.. Don't ever disappear from my life again.," a tear slid down her cheek, " I don't care about your secret I just.. I just care about you! So please..I'm begging you please don't leave me alone again.. Please.. Not again.."
Zero's eyes widened. He took her hands in his and made her release him. He turned around and brought her into a comfortable embrace and he said, "I don't know how you feel about me right now, or what you think about me but.. If staying near you is what keeps you happy then.. I guess I have no choice.. I'm sorry for everything Juliet.. I wish I couldtake everything back.. I'm sorry you found out.. I just.."
Juliet pushed away from him slightly and looked up at him then said, "No.. I'm happy I found out.. I'm not afraid of you Zero.. The only thing you need to be sorry for is leaving me but.. That doesn't matter now because you're here now and I'm not afraid.. I'm not afraid of the rain, or anything.. I'm especially not afraid of you.."
She wrapped her arms around his waist and pushed her head against his chest.
He stroked her hair and said, "I promise I won't leave you again."
Juliet said quietly, "I'll always be by your side Zero.. I promise.."
