JD's friends watched as he paced. Each had accompanied a different woman. They were all doing their best not to be nervous, but it was JD's first time.
JD looked up as a door opened. He watched Nathan embrace Ran and returned to pacing. One by one, each of his friends collected the women they had brought and headed out.
The door opened one last time. Casey rushed into his arms. "I'm okay," she whispered. "Just take me home." JD realized that the mammogram must have hurt a lot and was glad he didn't have that responsibility to stay healthy.
