Declaimer: I don't own Trinity Blood

"Nightmare"

She was in bedroom, but strangely it didn't look even one bit like her own, with big windows showing beautiful panorama of the city and pristine white walls. No, it was dark, and she could see how impossible was that those silken, blood red sheets were hers. She firstly wasn't owning that kind of bed cloths and secondly she would never buy such unpractical thing. Esther absently scratched her head, noticing with chill that she was... Well to put it simply she was half naked, if only she could recognize delicate, black laced nighty as cloth.

It was then when she heard voice-his voice. Dietrich, she thought with sudden fury.

"So you are awake at last my love", she could now see him clearly in the light of fire, the same angelic face and brown eyes, sparkling with evil.

"What is the meaning of this?", she said embarrassed and angry. He seemed to be amused, by this situation, and Esther felt as if he knew something, which she didn't have idea about. She hated that feeling, but even more she hated him.

"Oh, Esther"(the way he was saying her name was making her go both hot and cold)

"My lovely, darling Esther, is that how you treat your husband?", he said while walking straight to the bed Esther was currently laying on.

Esther blinked.

She blinked second time.

And then she finally understood what he said.

"My husband? I don't have one."

He smirked.

"Oh, but of course you have one. Actually, your husband is me."

"Huh?"

"I am hurt, Esther. You don't even remember the one you said 'Yes' to."

She swallowed loudly. Her body covered cold sweat.

"No, that can't be right, I couldn't possibly marry you! You betrayed me! You lied to me! You tried to kill me...Well, maybe not with your own hands, but still...I...I..."

"Yes, my dear wife?", he asked looking straight into her eyes.

"I hate you!", she screamed feeling both hatred and terrible fear filling her from the inside. What if he really was her husband?

She half expected him to scream back, or even hit her, but no. He only smirked, very pleased.

"You can scream all you want, Esther. I don't mind. But", he paused suddenly growing very serious. "You are mine. As a little punishment maybe...We'll play a little..."

He pinned her to the bed. His eyes...She didn't like the devilish glint in them. She was scared.

"No, please no", she whispered helplessly as his face moved closer and closer to hers.

"Nooooooooooooooooooo!",she screamed...

She sat up on her bed. Her room. Her own room, and she was alone and perfectly safe. She wiped sweat from her forehead.

"It was a nightmare. Just a nightmare."

When he make sure she was asleep,he moved from his hiding place in shadows. He looked again at sleeping beauty, taking in her peaceful face and halo of red hair.

"Goodnight Esther, I hope we'll see each other soon, my love. Very soon..."
