A Poem by Jack Sparrow
My name is Jack Sparrow.
I'm a pirate, sailing the seas.
Although I'm captain of this ship,
I often lose my keys.
My ship is magnificent and huge-ish,
My crew is loyal and brave.
One day, Will Turner came on my ship,
And Elizabeth we had to save.
"Where's the rum?" I always ask,
Searching about my ship.
I will not be satisfied
Til the bottle reaches my lip.
I have a jar of dirt as well.
I carry it everywhere.
I also have a song about it,
But no one really cares.
I went down to the locker once,
Davy Jones', I mean,
But I ended up with my crew again,
And that monkey had replaced me!
So, "Where's the rum?" I always ask,
On and on and on.
I suppose the only question is
Why is it always gone?
