"I, Dean Winchester, promise to love you and stick with you, Cas, as long as I live and probably after.

"I promise not to try and convince you to sleep with any more prostitutes -- unless of course I'm joining you.

"I promise to try to make being human as non-sucky as possible for you.

"I promise that you can get in my personal space as much as you want, and to never use spells to hide from you or banish you. "I promise I will try to listen with an open mind when you tell me how full of crap I am.

"And I promise that some day, at some point, I will find a way to let you pick the music."

As Dean finished his vows, Sam, the Best Man, wiped a tear away as surreptitiously as he could. Gabriel and Crowley just rolled their eyes.

Then Cas said, "I, Castiel, promise to love you and be faithful to you and have semi-frequent sexual relations with you.

"I will protect you as much as I am able, and I will try to be patient when you are tiresome.

"I will never give up on you and decide that you are too damaged and hopeless to prevail, even when your actions suggest it is so.

"Even if I get my power back, I will still not think of you as much, much, much, much lower than me.

"And I promise to spend my life trying to better understand humanity, especially you, while never ceasing to look upon you with wonder."

Dean smiled at Cas then, eyes moist, and Cas smiled back. And for once, Dean felt like he really knew exactly what was in Cas' thoughts.

The moment came to its logical conclusion as the officiator announced, "I now pronounced you married. Now kiss, ya idjits."

They came together then, mouth on mouth, soft and sweet and full of promise.

Tears ran down Sam's face as he snapped photos.

Crowley and Gabriel just found a way to clap sarcastically.
