PERFECT. Lily Evans was just that- perfect. Her gorgeous red hair was long and perfectly straight. The emeralds she possessed for eyes were like no others eyes and were the perfect shade of green. The amount of freckles that dotted her porcelain skin was the perfect number. Her skin was the perfect shade of pale. She was the perfect height. She was the perfect model student.

In James Potter's eyes, Lily Evans was perfect.
In her own eyes, she most definitely was not.

Perfect? No, she was positive that she was far from it. Her hair was limp and an undesirable shade. Her eyes were somewhat pretty, but it was too weird being the only one with that color. She was too pale and had too many freckles. She was too short. She was too involved with her studies to have many friends.

On their third date, he told her she was perfect. She venomously denied it and countered every and any remark pertaining to the fact she supposedly was. It wasn't long before he had just given up, pulling her into a hug. He kissed the top of her head and tried to ignore the things she continued to say were wrong with her.

Lily Evans was perfect in James Potter's eyes, despite any flaws.
Lily Evans was perfectly flawed.

I would appreciate any reviews. I know it does get annoying sometimes to review stories, but even just a "good job" or a smiley face is really amazing because it recognizes that the story was actually read by someone. Even if you hated it, I'd love to get a review that says, "I hated this. You suck." or something. I really don't mind. Thanks for reading!
