Untouchable

Mark Sloan is caught in between three amazing women! How can he choose? Will he choose right?

Mark Sloan looked up from charting. He focused on the blonde at the other end of the nurse's station. He smiled and shook his head. Closing the chart, he walked up to her. She was talking with Owen.

Teddy and Owen, in Mark's opinion were getting a little too flirty, friendly. He didn't want to be territorial but he didn't want Hunt to steal Teddy from him.

Like the way Alex stole Lexie from him.

Granted, they were already broken up, but still that man got on his last nerves.

But he liked Teddy. He liked her a lot.

He had barely started walking to Teddy when his pager went off.

Groaning as he yanked the beeper out of his pocket.

The page was from Derek, telling him to meet him in his office.

Taking one last look at Teddy he turned and headed for the elevator.

Thinking to himself that he really hoped Derek didn't paged him just to play basketball. Even though Mark knew he could beat Derek in basketball. He just needed to let Mark practice in his office more.

Strolling down the hallway his eye caught a familiar flash of blonde hair. Lexie.

Casually he glanced over at her. She was standing with Alex. They were fighting.

"Alex! You can't just bring me into your life and shut me out!" Mark heard Lexie say angrily.

"Maybe I don't need you in my life!" Alex spat back.

"Fine!" Lexie shouted this time.

"Fine!" Alex growled back and then turned and walked away.

Anger boiled up inside Mark. How could he do that to her? It took all the power in his body to not run after him and hit him telling him how lucky he was to have someone like Lexie in his life.

As he walked past, Lexie eyes lit up in surprise. She knew he had heard every word. Her brown eyes were threatening to spill tears.

But yet, Mark thought they seemed to say. "How could you let this happen to me?"

The anger that had just died down, boiled back up again. But he forced it away and continued to walk to Derek's office.

His heart urged to go and comfort Lexie. But he knew he couldn't.

He pushed the door to Derek's office open.

"You needed me?" He called out to Derek.

Mark hadn't realized he had been with someone.

Someone Mark didn't recognize.

He did however, recognize that she was hot. To put in better words sexy hot.

She had curly reddish brown hair, that held perfect blonde highlights.

Her eyes were like the sea, blue green. A color Mark adored as soon as he saw them.

She had a brilliant smile too. She was smiling at him.

Mark couldn't help but smile back.

"Ah Dr. Sloan. I would like you to meet our new vascular surgeon Natalie Brooks." Derek said.

"Nice to meet you Dr. Brooks." Mark said shaking her hand.

Natalie flashed her smile again. "Please call me Natalie."

"OK, then you can call me Mark."

She laughed. "I was planning on it."

Mark immediately liked her.

"Dr. Brooks also is a specialized ENT. So I thought our own ENT could show her around. Is that OK?"

Mark smiled. "Yeah, of course it is. Come on Natalie"

OK. So definition of a vascular surgeon: Vascular surgeons operate on the blood vessels (ie arteries and veins) for conditions such as blockages or dilations (aneurysms) in the major arteries in the abdomen or legs.

Also, in my head the actress who plays Natalie Brooks is Rebecca Gayheart. Eric Dane's wife.
