Author's Note:

Hey everyone, first of all let me say THANK YOU to everyone who has read and re-read this story. And an even bigger thank you to everyone who has reviewed/commented. It is a writer's greatest joy to know that even a year later, people are enjoying their efforts. Many have asked either via reviews, emails or PM's if the series will continue and I would like to take the time to assure you that YES! I am going to keep this going. However life threw me a bit of a challenge since last year. I did take a little time off to regroup, play with a few other fandoms that I was interested in, and to plan out my next book in the series. Ok so the stories always take a life of their own…but I wanted to have an idea of where to go. In the midst of all that I had some great things happen: new relationship (still going awesomely), new job (finally!), and a new apartment all to myself!

And then my company got bought and they decided to outsource our work to another country. So in order to stay employed I had to go where the steady money was. Unfortunately, there have been some serious constraints on my free time since, and while I do have my next book fairly mapped out, I have only gotten a little bit written. Mostly tinkering with various chapters and ideas.

There is a silver lining to my cloud however and the end is in sight! I could be home as early as next month, but by fall for sure, and then I can resume my writing full steam. So please bear with me my loyal readers and I'd like to think it will be worth the wait.

For those of you dying to know: Yes….there WILL be more pairing/partnering to the upcoming stories that I am looking forward to both writing and seeing your reactions to. And there is a reason for the 'harem fic' warning. I plan on having lots of fun when we get full steam into ME2's storyline. And there is one couple that I am just DYING to write. Sadly, that is way far ahead in the story, but it's incentive for me to get cracking! Also the next book will be written in a slightly different style and promises to be considerably darker as it deals with events between the Normandy's loss and Shep's re-awakening. I hope it will accomplish filling in some gaps and explanations to the way certain people behave in ME2 that just really bothered me when I played it. If things go well in the next week or so I MIGHT even have the chance to fine-tune my first chapter which I have mostly written, and treat you all to a preview of sorts.
