This is my first attempt at poetry, so be nice. I've done this as a warm-up for a Lu Ten fanfic. I may add some verses during my prose compostion, but for now, consider it oneshot. Standby... Don't forget that I don't own the ATLA portion, DUH! :P

Lost in the wind, petals like rain

Pale shapes twirl gracefully

With breath of the sun.

Little soldier boy, stand proud and strong.

Brave soldier boy, stands proud and strong.

Rays of the sun, first light of day

Shine on the warrior's blade

Flashing silver flame.

Little soldier boy, take up the sword.

Brave soldier boy, takes up the sword.

Smoke over flame, seeks lofty sky

Tendrils drift lazily

Shadows in the night.

Little soldier boy, heed battle's call.

Brave soldier boy, heeds battle's call.

Mist of the night, glistening tears

Shimmer with verdant life

Upon trailing vine.

Little soldier boy, defend the land.

Brave soldier boy, defends the land.

Leaves from the vine, falling so slow

Like fragile, tiny shells

Drifting in the foam.

Little soldier boy, come marching home.

Brave soldier boy, comes marching home.
