I wrote this for a school prompt- "The most annoying thing in the world." It was fun.

Actually I believe this is my first oneshot.

Beast Boy woke up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. He climbed out carefully and hopped across the room, avoiding all the junk on the floor by experience. Then he ran down the hallway as quickly as possible.

No one was up. Even Robin seemed to be asleep for once. His ears slumped disappointedly, then with his keen hearing he picked up... "Azarath Men..."

Yes! Raven! He bounded up the stairs two at a time, humming the can-can for no reason whatsoever. The whole thing was very spontaneous.

He climbed onto the roof and watched Raven, still humming. The sorceress ignored him as best she could while he hummed that annoying tune. She was so gonna kill him sometime... Finally Beast Boy ventured, "Hi, Raven."
The girl growled. "Shut up. The one time I get to be alone and he still..." She interrupted herself. "AND STOP HUMMING!"

Beast Boy grinned and hummed a little louder. "What's the matter, Raven? Her Serene Highness bothered by a little humming? Raven's eyes shot open. "SHUT. UP."

Beast Boy started humming the Toys-R-Us theme song over and over. Raven turned to him slowly, eyes glowing red.

He gulped as she threw him over with a wave of black energy and just barely managed to turn into a dolphin in time for a massive belly flop. He quickly turned into a seagull, flew back up, and sputtered, "What was THAT for?! Now I'm soaking wet!"

Raven calmly answered, "For being the most annoying thing in the world."

Lesson learned-never annoy a girl who can throw you off a building.
