A/N: ugh...yeah... Read and Review please!
"Are you in your formal garb today, Subaru-chan? I'll bet you are. I imagine you're not even wearing anything underneath, I know you don't like to. You enjoy the free feeling it gives you. Don't worry I won't tell, it makes undressing you that much easier." Came the heated voice on his cell phone as it burned against his ear, from the heat of Seishirou's voice or from the flush spreading over Subaru's skin he wasn't sure.
This was hardly the time and definitely not the place for this sort of thing. Considering it was Seishirou he shouldn't have been as surprised as he was; but still, in the middle of a family gathering on Obon?! The man had more sense than that; he knew he always went home for the holiday, Hokuto and he hadn't hidden that fact from the man or anything. Besides, wasn't Seishirou too old for this kind of behavior anyway?!
Before his blush could be seen by any of the family members, let alone those that were already giving him disapproving looks for having his phone with him or any other sundry reasons, he ducked into the wisteria trellises in the garden.
"This is hardly the time for such things! Let alone on Obon of all times, Seishirou!"
"My Subaru-chan is so mean!" The older man mock sobbed, "And I even took the time out of my busy schedule to call you to wish you a happy Obon and ask you to burn a stick of incense for Hokuto from me."
"Burn incense for…from you!?" Hissed Subaru before the phone was snatched from his grasp.
"You can take that incense and stick it up your ass Sakurazukamori! Have you no shame? Go to your family grave and pray for those ancestors of yours!" Snapped Subaru's grandmother; slamming the phone shut, she turned it off and handed it back to her grandson. "I saw you leave and came to see what was going on. Now why don't you help an old woman back into the house before the heat gets to her, hmm?"
Subaru did as she asked, trying not to smirk too much as they walked through the congregated family members; there was no reason make them think he was up to no good any more than some already did. He hoped Grandmother figured out who'd spilt the pocky about his relationship with the Sakurazukamori soon, he had a few things to say to the person about family secrecy.
"What was it he said to make you run off like that in the first place Subaru?" She asked, smirking in her head at the blush that tried to crawl its way up his face. Hokuto was always right about her brother, it seemed. She just wished there was a chance he'd be able to get the happiness the girl had wanted for him.
Much later that night Subaru woke to his phone vibrating next to his head, lifting it he saw the call was from Seishirou and answered it. If only his grandmother knew that these calls were a weekly occurrence. That they were almost a drug to both men.
