Ok, I was watching America's Funniest Home Videos, and two girls did this, and I immediatly thought of L, Light and Misa. Yes, this is exactly what they do when the task force isn't there.

I don't own Death Note. :D

Light stared across the room, his eyes narrowed. L stared back, his thumb, for once, was away from his mouth. "So...are you ready?" The detective nodded slowly, his pand-like eyes never moving from Light's cinnamon ones. "You know, Light, there is a 99.99% chance that we will get hurt." He nodded, taking a deep breath. Misa sat on the couch, lifting herself with her knees, a stop-watch in her hand. "Ok, on 3...1...2...3!" the button beeped, and the two men charged at each other.

The excersise balls they were holding hit each other, and they went flying backwards. Misa squeaked, ducking into the pillows as the balls flew away. L and Light were tossed, then the chain went taught, sending them sailing into eahc other. Light's chin smacked into L's head, and the detective cried out. They fell into a tumble, gasping in pain, both grabbing at the arm that was chained. Misa peeked out from behind a pillow.

The door of the hotel room opened, and Matsuda and Soichiro stepped in just in time to see that. He stared at them, looking very, very confused. But that's just how he looks. Misa jumped up, heading towards them. "A new record!" she shouted happily, pushing the stop-watch in their faces. "It took them exactly 3.5 seconds to fall; that's a half more than last time!" Matsuda grinned, sniggering under his hand. Soichiro rubbed his temples, a smile playing on his lips.

L and Light, who were still gasping, managed to stand, their arms using each other's shoulder for support. "See, Light," L gasped, rubbing his stomach, "I told you we could fall faster." The brunette nodded, taking out his wallet. He pulled out five dollars, handing them to the detective with a scowl. Matsuda laughed louder, holding his stomach, and Soichiro just shook his head, turning on his heels and walking out. Misa stared at the laughing officer, a confused look on her face.

A/N: Yup. It's small, and it was much funnier in my head, but here it is. :D R&R please.
