Hello! This is my first try at Chronicals of Vladimir Tod so I hope you enjoy. Please tell me if there are any mistakes.

Disclaimer: If I owned Chronicals of Vladimir Tod then Vlad would have gotten over Meredith a long time ago and realized his love for Snow.

Eddie's Take on the Situation

A Chronicles of Vladimir Tod short story that is set after Tenth Grade Bleeds.

Summary: Eddie finally gives his take on the whole Vlad "situation." If you squint and look side-ways you might be able to make out a touch of one-sided Vlad/Eddie.

(Eddie'sPOV)

I've always found something weird-or I guess you could also say interesting-about Vladimir Tod. I just never guessed that it could be that he's a vampire.

I let out a deep breath that I hadn't realized I had been holding in. I had finally admitted to myself what I had been frightened of for weeks. He's a vampire, a blood sucking demon of the night.

I probably should have guessed after…..one of his kind came after me, and asked me where I could find Vlad. After it had happened I tried to block it from my mind. It worked for awhile. That is, until I saw his eyes flash purple. After that fateful Halloween I couldn't stop thinking about the incident from the year before. It was as if my brain was trying to tell me something I was not yet consciously aware of yet.

I'm not sure when I first realized what he was. Maybe it was when I first saw him float up to the belfry. What he does up there I may never know. Maybe he takes his victims up there to feed off of them.

There are things that I still wonder about, like, why does he try to act normal or why he ages with the rest of us. Also, is his aunt a vampire, too? He doesn't seem affected by the sun, and he always seemed like a normal teenager. That is, before I found out he was a monster.

Okay, I'll admit, I used to look up to Vlad. He was never popular, only one step higher on the social ladder than me, but he never really seemed to care. He was always sort of nice to me, too. He had and still has a great friend, although a bite of the vampire kind might have helped with that. He's always been fairly good looking with his dark hair and eyes, a big contrast against his pale, clear skin. He had a totally hot girlfriend, who for some reason he broke up with.

It's strange because he seems to have the same emotions as pretty much any person. I've seen him cry before, and I later found out that that was after he broke things off with his girlfriend. He gave me quit a scare that night. I shivered as images of him lifting me up and pushing me against a tree. He warned me to stay away from him or he would hurt me. That was one warning that I took seriously. I mean, why would a soulless creature like him have any second thoughts about hurting a pest like me?

I sighed. This is one of the most confusing things in this whole messed up nightmare. How can a soulless being show so much emotion? It doesn't add up! He's a vampire, but he seems compassionate in so many things he does. I've seen his eyes fill with tears when someone mentions his parents. I've seen the looks of fear whenever Tom and Bill give him a hard time. I've seen him laugh at something Henry had said, and wince whenever Joss came into a conversation.

In short, Vladimir Tod is a very confusing being.

A Very Confusing Ending
