Yo! ^^ I'm still a newbie when it comes to this Eyeshield fandom thing cuzz, uhhn, i just recently started reading/watching it ^^ but now I'm done and i found this couple... very eye-catching..?
but anyways... this is my first time writing something this short (491 words) and yeahh,, i hope you liek it... (:

Warning: Character death, sort of... Almost a one-sided love.
Hiruma.
Sena wanted to forgive Hiruma for cheating on him, he really did. But it was always hard when the person at fault never felt remorseful. Just once, Sena wanted to believe that Hiruma was apologetic to him and forget about how him and Mamori were always together. But he couldn't because he was still waiting for the other to apologize to him.
Hiruma never did.
Sena counted the many times when he had accidentally walked in on his boyfriend and his sister figure hugging or kissing but this was by far the worst. They had officially disregarded his feelings and had slept together. On his goddamn birthday.
He had burst out into a fit of tears, legs giving way under him and shoulder suddenly feeling heavy. His hoarse cry was enough to startle the couple into consciousness and turn them into a stuttering mess. He had had enough, no more lies, no more pain, no more Hiruma. Sena rose from the floor and bolted out the door, momentarily forgetting about his blurred vision and the flight of stairs he had to climb down to get away from the two in the room. It was all too late when Mamori had shrieked his name.
Hiruma never batted an eye.
Sena knew that death would eventually bestow itself upon him but he wished that it would have been later. But he knew, that the moment his body hit the floor, that he would die. Even if he'd survive, he would be dead. So that's why he wasn't so surprised when the doctor had informed him about how much longer his back would hold out on him.
Shin and Riku were present when this was announced and Sena would never forget their pain stricken faces. 2 weeks. Due to his back almost snapping from falling down a flight of stairs, he only had two weeks left. Sena just wished that he could have been able to see Hiruma before he rested for eternity.
Hiruma never showed up.
Shin had known for the past few weeks about Sena's only death wish: he wanted to see Hiruma. Maybe that was why he had died with such a peaceful smile on his face. He had faith in the other. He believed that Hiruma would come.
Riku knew about something no one else did: Sena wanted Hiruma to give his heart back before he passed away. That was why he looked so serene lying in that coffin with a bunch of white roses surrounding his lithe body. Sena thought that for sure Hiruma would have come to see him for the last time. But Riku knew, that by the time Sena's funeral was over, his wish wouldn't be recognized. This wasn't a fairytale, it had no happy ending.
Hiruma never did any of those.
Riku never thought that Sena looked good with white. But Hiruma would never know because,
Hiruma never loved Sena enough to do anything.
